Trinity Leeds is a brand new retail and leisure mall which opened in Leeds City Centre on the 21st March, 2013 at 10:00am. The mall has a latticed glass roof, through which the surrounding skyline is clearly visible including the spire of Trinity Church. Within Trinity Leeds are a number of retailers, restaurants and bars. Brands include: The Alchemist, Angelica, Apple, Armani Exchange, BHS, Boots, Bose, The Botanist, Boutique by Goldsmiths, Burger King, Burton, Cafe Rouge, Carluccio's, Charles Tyrwhitt, Cielo Blanco, Claire's, Coast, Costa Coffee, Crafthouse, Crepeaffaire, Crocs, Deichmann, Dorothy Perkins, EE, Everyman, Footlocker, Fossil, Fraser Hart, Giraffe, H&M, Handmade Burger Co., Holland and Barrett, Hollister, Internacionale, iPatch, Jack & Jones, Joe Delucci's, Johnnie Cupcakes, Juice, La Senza, Lavazza, Lego, Lemongrass House, Love Coffee, Mamas & Papas, Mango, Marks & Spencer, McDonalds, Menkind, Mr Pretzels, Nando's, New Look, Next, O2, Oasis, Office, Pandora, Phillip Stoner, Primark, Regis, River Island, Sblended, Snog, Starbucks, Superdry, Swarovski, TGI Fridays, The Entertainer, The Pen Shop, The Perfume Shop, The Watch Lab, Timpson, Topman, Topshop, Trinity News, Urban Outfitters, Victoria's Secret, Vision Express, Vodafone, Wagamama, Warehouse, Wasabi, Watch Station International, Wilkinson, and Yo! Sushi. There is also a temporary 'pop up' One Direction store, and an information desk staffed by Visit Leeds.

This video features the build up to the opening with external shots of Trinity, along with shots of the statue on Briggate called Minerva, the queueing crowds being admitted into the mall. The views are internal of the shops, restaurants and general infrastructure. The opening is marked by a performing aerial acrobatic dancer, who does a routine and then emerges in a 15 metre dress designed by Henry Holland.

Finally views are from the balcony of Mexican restaurant Cielo Blanco, which has great views over Briggate. Cielo Blanco is the only non-chain independent unit in Trinity Leeds.

Leeds shopping guide 2019 (Things to do in Leeds)

Explore Leeds's most popular shopping locations with this virtual tour around the city. With numerous shopping streets, centres and arcades it is easy for first time visitors to the city to feel overwhelmed. Where should I go first? How far is it from here to there? Should I get the bus with my shopping or can I walk?

I've mapped out an easy route around the city, taking into consideration the likelihood that you'll be increasing your haul along the journey.

This video guides you along a route which prioritises up hill walking first, allowing an easier walk later whilst you have more bags. The route also includes a couple of rest areas for drinks and snacks, and saves the more popular shopping locations (where you're more likely to make purchases) for towards the end of the day when you won't have as far to carry everything.
