Trinity Leeds is a brand new retail and leisure mall which opened in Leeds City Centre on the 21st March, 2013 at 10:00am. The mall has a latticed glass roof, through which the surrounding skyline is clearly visible including the spire of Trinity Church. Within Trinity Leeds are a number of retailers, restaurants and bars. This video features the build up to the opening with external shots of Trinity, along with shots of the statue on Briggate called Minerva, the queueing crowds being admitted into the mall. The views are internal of the shops, restaurants and general infrastructure. The opening is marked by a performing aerial acrobatic dancer, who does a routine and then emerges in a 15 metre dress designed by Henry Holland.
Finally views are from the balcony of Mexican restaurant Cielo Blanco, which has great views over Briggate. Cielo Blanco is the only non-chain independent unit in Trinity Leeds.
