40 Years of Conservation In Sabah

WWF-Malaysia has come a long way since its coming into being on the 13th of January 1972, with only 2 employees, a tiny office and sheer determination. Our first ever project was assisting the National Parks Board (now Sabah Parks) with a survey of Pulau Gaya, off the coast of Kota Kinabalu in 1972. Since then, our growth in Sabah has been punctuated by milestones such as those listed in this video.

We loved our time in Kota Kinabalu, Semporna, Sipidan, Sandakan, Kudat, Sepilok, Tenom, and Kinabatangan in Sabah, Malaysia. Sabah is full of so many diverse things to do it is an adventurers dream vacation!
