Tsukuba Circuit, located in Japan, was built in 1970 and is known for hosting sports car, open wheel and motorcycle races - and most notably Time Attack competitions. There are two main configurations, Course 1000 and Course 2000, with multiple variations of both. This makes the track a perfect fit for the iRacing base package as it can be used in multiple series without becoming repetitive.

Course 2000 is just over 2 KM in length and features 14 turns. Course 1000 is approximately 1 KM and has 11 turns. While the two main configurations share the same facilities, they are completely independent of each other and don't share any racing surface.

The tracks proximity to Tokyo, Japan has made it extremely popular with local car tuners who compete in Time Attack competitions. Expect to see Tsukuba Circuit feature in both race series and time attack competitions on iRacing.

RECORD, Nissan GT-R Nismo, New lap-time, Tsugio Matsuda (9, Dec 2019) - The 2020 Nissan GT-R NISMO broke the lap-time record in a time-attack on the Tsukuba Circuit on December 9th, 2019.

NISMO race driver Tsugio Matsuda drove the record-breaking lap with a lap time of 59.3 seconds, beating the last production car track record.23 hours ago.


Nissan states the GT-R can attain a top speed of 315 km/h (196 mph), Motor Trend recorded a top speed of 313.8 km/h (195.0 mph). In tests, the original production model was shown to be capable of achieving 0-97 km/h (60 mph) times as low as 3.2 seconds using launch control.


In its fastest run, the GT-R was able to achieve a top speed of 255.53 mph, beating out the previous record of 250.2 mph set by a Lamborghini Huracan in past November.

This track was CREATED by 'Polar Blue 21' for Grand Prix Legends and released on February 21, 2004.
I released version 1.0 as a pretty simple conversion, but V2.0 is 90 % redone.

The GTR2 version was converted by rainmaker87 with friendly support by philrob that did the starting lights and several fixes.

The conversion to GTR2

Dutchdevil gave zwiss permission to use his GTL version to create a GTR2 version.
Zwiss did not get in contact with Polar Blue 21, but since GTL was allowed, Zwiss had no reason to believe the original author would mind that a GTR2 version was made.

About Tsukuba Circuit:
The Tsukuba Circuit is a motorsport race track located in Shimotsuma, a neighboring city of Tsukuba, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan. It is 2.045 kilometres (1.271 mi) long, has 32 pits and the longest straight is 437 metres (0.272 mi) long. There is a small chicane corner that is used for motorcycle racing only and increases the total length to 2.070 kilometres (1.286 mi). The track was established in 1966 with the aim of attracting young people to participate in motor sports, but was not actually completed until 1970. At the present time, an event is held every week. The track has a large variety of corners, ranging from wide sweepers to hairpins.The circuit accommodates 8500 spectators on the track, 3000 in the stands, 5000 on lawn seats, and 500 standing over the pits.


About HONDA FTR 223
Since the late 1990s, the custom of off-road motorcycle dirt track racing has become popular, and the distribution of FTR250 has increased rapidly. Similarly, the Yamaha TW200 became popular as a wide base tire, which is the biggest feature, and became popular as a custom base machine for street riding, so this model was developed and released as a competing model.

The style follows the FTR250, but it is a street model with the concept of “to restore and reinvigorate the style and running performance of flat trackers with modern streets” as a custom base [1]. The only thing common to the FTR250 is the gasoline tank and side cover, and the others are completely different.

As an aside, until FTR223 was released, the side cover of FTR250 was traded at an unusually high price of 40 to 70,000 sheets, but after FTR223 appeared, it dropped sharply.

The engine installed is the MD33E model with a displacement of 223cc, which was installed in SL230 in 1997. The torque output in the normal range is emphasized, and the maximum output is as low as 19ps, but it has been tuned for ease of handling.

The frame was also changed from FTR250 double grade to semi-double grade, and we were conscious of handling and lightness on the street rather than the race. Only the body color Shasta White (Tricolor) is fitted with a bib plate-like side cover on the front side of the rear wheel.

The front is 18 inches, and the rear brake is not a disc brake, which is essential for a flat track racer, but a small drum type. It is not a model that assumes flat track competition. There was a plan to run a flat truck with a tie-up with Honda in a motorcycle magazine, but it was too poor but it was too poor and could not be brought into the power slide, and above all, it was completely established for competition because of the rear drum brake I did not.

Driving the HKS Time Attack Evo (CT230R) on FM4

I am driving the HKS Time Attack Evo (CT230R) at the Top Gear Test Track on Forza Motorsport 4.

This car was showcased at the 2007 Tokyo Auto Salon and this tuned Evo was made to break every single record known to Japanese racing circuits. It's first steps was on April 2, 2006 when it recorded a lap time of 55.063 seconds at Tsukuba Circuit in Shimotsuma, Japan. Later on, the CT230R lapped a 1:42.37 round the Fuji Speed Way and soon afterwards, it destroyed every single lap record in Tokachi Circuit, Central Circuit (Hyogo), Okayama International, Sugo, and Suzuka Circuit.

On December 2006, the CT230R returned on Tsukuba and set an impressive 53.999 seconds and a year later, the record was beaten again in a manly 53.589 seconds. This record breaking tuned Evo was piloted by Nob Taniguchi, based on the Lancer Evolution, and most of the parts were from HKS, while the 2.0L 4G63 engine was upgraded to 2.3L. It comes with HKS' GT3240 turbo that provides 552HP of power and 470.1 ft-lb of torque. For weight loss, most of the body panels are replaced with carbon fiber.

About Yamaha TZ 125
The 1979 TZ125 is a commercial road racer based on the YZR125R works machine. It has been used for many years from road racing world championships to grass racing because it is easy to handle and affordable with a single cylinder. The 2008 model is a continuous sale of the 2007 model (specifying the 2006 model magnesium wheel slightly changed from casting to forging), and no full model change has been made. The market price is 1,047,900 yen. The 2009 model produced and sold five units, and the TZ125 was discontinued. The market price is 1,207,500 yen.
