JAXA/The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency is the Japanese national aerospace and space agency.
JAXA’s Tsukuba Space Center (TKSC) located in Tsukuba Science City is a consolidated operations facility with world-class equipment and testing facilities.
TKSC offers self-guided/guided tours of its facilities and exhibitions. At the Space Dome, you can take a close look at many space-related exhibits including full-scale satellite models, real rocket engines, and a life-size model of the “Kibo,” the Japanese Experiment Module for the International Space Station. Also, a guided tour takes you to view Mission Control Room and Astronaut Training Facilities.

Tsukuba is a city in Japan’s Kantō region, on Honshu island. In the city center, Tsukuba Expo Center has interactive science displays and a planetarium.
Tsukuba Space Center has a rocket engine and exhibits on space exploration. North, a funicular railway and cable car run to the twin peaks of Mount Tsukuba, known for its fall foliage. At the foot of the mountain, Tsukuba-san Shrine was founded in the 7th century.

Tsukuba Space Center (TKSC) is the operations facility and head quarters for the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) located in Tsukuba Science City in Ibaraki Prefecture. The facility opened in 1972 and serves as the primary location for Japan's space operations and research programs. Japanese astronauts involved in the International Space Station are trained in part here in addition to the training they receive at the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center, in Houston, Texas.
The TKSC offers tours of the facility as well as an exhibit hall which features models of the H-II Transfer Vehicle and a full-sized mock-up of the KIBO module on the International Space Station.

It's FREE! Right next to JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency--Japan's version of NASA) Space Center!
Science Square in Tsukuba, Ibaraki has all the cool gadgets and science experiments you can play around with.
There's information in English on touch screens next to all the displays and it is not dumbed down for anyone! I super recommend this center if you love science and technology.
