Four people organised a road side clean-up event through the tuart forest, invited lots of friends and family and had fun while making a real difference.

The IRONMAN® Perth bike leg features a revised, two lap course from Busselton, following the outskirts of Tuart Forest National Park and into the beautiful Capel Shire. Well known as one of the flattest and fastest on the circuit, it sets the perfect platform for personal best times. The course encompasses the picturesque Geographe Bay, providing some amazing scenery along the way.
The 2014 edition of IRONMAN® Perth was won by French athlete Denis Chevrot. Patrik Nilsson (Sweden) came second. Swiss Mike Schifferle had the fastest bike split (4:23.12) and finished fifth. Britta Martin (New Zealand) won the women’s race.
