Zamboanga del Norte Adventures: Day 3

We went to a spring in Mahayag. We took a bus from Dipolog's Bus Terminal to Mahayag bus stop and paid only Php 145.00. From there, we took a tricycle and paid Php 35.00 per head. (Fare could range from Php 30.00 - Php 40.00 or vary depending on negotiation.)

Eriberta's Spring Resort had a lot of guest the day we came. It was summer and a saturday so that explains the influx of people. It would have been better if we had the place for ourselves. (Haha!)There were a lot of Cottages. I haven't asked how much they cost but we only paid for a table that comes with only 2 chairs for Php150.00 which they had set up near the pool upon our request. I was expecting that everything would have been carved by nature but the springs had been divided into pools. The rocks remained at the bottom of the pools though. There were 5 pools. 2 deeper pools and 3 shollow ones. The water was cold and refreshing. The spring is surrounded by trees. It was sunny but the breeze just felt right. You and your family will have so much fun in the waters.

It was my first time seeing a spring so I was happy.

This is one place you should visit Zamboanga del Norte. =D
