The Saint Peter Metropolitan Cathedral, also known as the Tuguegarao Cathedral, is an 18th-century Baroque church located along Rizal Street, Barangay Centro 10, Tuguegarao, Cagayan, Philippines. The church, originally built by Dominican friars, is the seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Tuguegarao and is considered as one of the largest churches in the Cagayan Valley. A historical marker bearing a brief history of the church was installed in 1982 by the National Historical Institute, precursor of the National Historical Commission of the Philippines.

Finally reach my destination, Tuguegarao City - Province of Cagayan CAGAYAN VALLEY. Documented my trip and made joyride video. Visited the cathedral and the public market. Doing some errands and it was a short time though.

Tuguegarao is the capital city of the province of Cagayan, Philippines. It is located on a peninsula surrounded by the Cagayan and Pinacanauan Rivers. The Pinacanauan joins the Cagayan River in Tuguegarao. The city is surrounded by the Sierra Madre Mountains to the east, Cordillera Mountains to the west, and the Caraballo Mountains to the south. It is one of the settlements on the southern border of the province.
The population of the city as of the May 1, 2010 census is 138,865 people.[3] Most inhabitants are Ibanag, Ilokano, Tagalog, Itawes and Kapamapangan among others. Some are of Chinese and Indian descent.
The highest temperature in the Philippines was recorded in Tuguegarao on April 29, 1912, and May 11, 1969, at 42.2 °C (108.0 °F).[4] Average temperature during March and April is 38 °C (100 °F), one of the highest in the country.

Extreme flooding in Tuguegarao City is caused by non-stop rains from the pass week end.
As of December 20, 2011 - Barangay Centro 10 binaha na naman, Pinacauan Overflow Bridge lubog na sa baha at ilang parte ng daan sa Macapagal Avenue, Terisita Avenue in Caggay and the highway roads going to Centro proper are also affected.
Meanwhile, some houses that is near Balzain Bridge and Caritan Bridge are now partly submerged underwater water.

Composed of 49 barangays, 29 of which are urban with Barangays Centro 01-12 as its Central Business District spread over a land area of 144.80 square kilometer. Tuguegarao, a young city for 12 years is now the Cagayan Valley Region's Premiere Urban Center and the Center of Excellence in Education, Commerce, Trade and Culture of Northeast Philippines, bounded by the Mighty Cagayan River, the longest in the country and the Pinacannauan River near the southern border of the province.
