Udaipur Vlog #01 | All You Need to know|
Hey Guys! Udaipur is a beautiful city in Rajasthan and also a very popular destination among tourists. So I decided to explore the real Udaipur like the small but amazing cafes at the bank of lake Pichola, markets with good stuff at a reasonable price and of course a very different way to explore every lane in old city. This is my first vlog of All About Udaipur series. Subscribe to my channel and press the Bell button to stay notified about all the videos by Safarnama_The Travel Diary.

Some Action Inside an Indian Restaurant Kitchen (includes some Street Food) at Chai Naasto, London..
✓ In this video we are very much privileged to watch some action inside a restaurant kitchen; it's something that goes on daily in restaurant kitchens all over the UK, India and the World but very rarely seen by the public.
Dishes in this video seen cooked / made: * Vegetable Biryani. * Pav Bhaji Fondue. * Kheema Egg Pav Slider. * Samosa Chaat. * Pani Puri Shots (served with: Sev, Pomegranate Seeds, chopped Red Onion, Chutney (Mint, Coriander, Green Chillies), Mashed Potato & Kala Chana (Black Chickpeas), Bundi). * Paneer Tikka Masala. * Chilli Cheese Bites. * Tacos. * Chocolate Samosa.
This a another visit to Chai Naasto Restaurant in which the Head Chef Vijendra and his colleagues gives us a brief insight into how he makes some of his restaurant's most popular dishes.
Note that; in Indian restaurants dishes are cooked on a very high heat which delivers a slight smokiness to the cooked food and gives that distinctive restaurant flavour and character to a dish.

A special thank you to Tilesh, Head Chef Vijendra. Executive Soux Chef Mukesh and all the restaurant team who welcomed us and graciously allowed us a privileged glimpse into their kitchen to do the videoing.
The Chai Naasto guys have created a delicious menu drawing inspiration from their Grandmother's (Nanima) classic home cooked food and India's famous street food stalls & laris'. The restaurant menu features some of India's favourite street foods.
There are so many Indian Street Eats items on the menu, so we can't wait to pay a return visit wink wink!!! ;-)

VISITING AUROVILLE FROM PONDICHEERY. The No Nation Experimental Community. | Auroville Vlog
I visited Auroville for half a day from Pondicherry. I took a tuk tuk there and back so I was limited in what I could see and explore but I started in the vistor centre which was actually really nice with some cafes and shops.
I visited the Exhibition Room and watched the video explaining what the MatriMandir in Auroville is, after that I walked the 1km walk to the MatriMandir which was incredible to see and I loved learning more about Sri Aurobindo and The Mother who created Auroville, this unique, no national experimental town.
I didn't hire a bike or moped so I was limited in my ability to get about which was a shame but many people must visit Auroville on a day trip from Pondicherry and be in the same situation. I had a walk around some of the pavilions but I did start to think it was a bit strange and different to what I expected especially because of the huge amount of trash, surely that's what Auroville is not about!
I got a tuk tuk back to Pondicherry and show you around Pondicherry in my next vlog!

How to travel India with two children on a budget - 2 Travelling Tots - Asian Adventure
Welcome to 2 Travelling Tots - India
In March we travelled India with our two tots. It was one of the best experiences of our lives
There's so much different opinions about India, but we were so glad we went to experience it for ourselves.
Whilst in India, we experience the Holi Festival in India, (our vlog of that day is here
We were located in Rajasthan for most of our trip and we can't recommend it enough.
We hope you enjoy our video
============= Who are 2 Travelling tots?
We are the Nicholson-Simpson’s…yes, I know, it’s a bit of a mouthful, so feel free to think of us as just the Simpson’s (not THOSE Simpson’s, but still). We are currently a family of 4 – I’m Laura (aka Mummy), my husband is Mark (aka Daddy) and then there’s “the boys” who are 3 years old (aka the big one, aka Alfie) and 9 months old (aka the little one, aka Charlie). We are loud (Daddy), we are messy (Mummy) and we do not believe in the sanctity of sleep (the boys)!!!
Just your average family…well almost…we travel…quite a lot… and we love it! The idea behind this blog is to keep an almost diary of our travels.
We have always loved to travel, both before and with the boys and where it has largely been part time since the monsters came along, we have recently made the decision to make it a bit more of a lifestyle choice…yep that’s what I’m calling it.
Maybe people (yes that’s you) will read it and like it…maybe I’ll drive people nuts and they won’t!
Let’s find out shall we… at the very least, it will be something for us to look back on in years to come and think “yep, we did that…and it was amazing!”.
Please feel free to subscribe to us, we’d love to hear your stories and thoughts on ours…
Jodhpur City Guide | India Travel Video in Rajasthan
Join us as we visit Jodhpur in this city travel guide covering the best things to do in the 'Blue City' of Rajasthan, India. Our travel video in Rajasthan (राजस्थान ਰਾਜਸਥਾਨ) covering the 'sun city' focusses on visiting Mehrangarh Fort (मेहरानगढ़ का दुर्ग) for some incredible views of the city and heading over to the Sardar Market (सरदार बाजार) nearby the Ghanta Ghar clock tower of Rajasthan where you can find great places to shop and grab Rajasthani cuisine (राजस्थानी खाना) and a saffron lassi. We especially recommend Jhankar restaurant where we had the best Rajasthani Thali (थाली) and regular Thali during our entire India travels. Jodhpur (जोधपुर) is also worth exploring on foot or tuk-tuk where you can just get lost down the myriad of colorful alleys. For dinner we suggest rooftop views at a restaurant where you can clearly see Mehrangarh Fort (मेहरानगढ़ का दुर्ग) lit up at night. It is just as spectacular by night as it is by day.
Things to do in Jodhpur Travel Guide:
1) Mehrangarh Fort (मेहरानगढ़ का दुर्ग) for incredible views of Jodphur 2) Mehrangarh Fort (मेहरानगढ़ का दुर्ग) for souvenir shopping, lunch and visiting museums 3) Autorickshaw ride around Jodhpur to really experience 'The Blue City' 4) Rajasthani cuisine (राजस्थानी खाना) ordering Rajasthani Thali (थाली) and saffron lassi (लस्सी) 5) Visit Ghanta Ghar clock tower of Rajasthan and Sardar Market (सरदार बाजार) for shopping, people watching and great food Rajasthan (राजस्थान ਰਾਜਸਥਾਨ) 6) JHANKAR Choti Haveli Restaurant for our favorite Indian food in Jodhpur 7) Rooftop dining for views of Mehrangarh Fort (मेहरानगढ़ का दुर्ग) at night

Jodhpur City Guide | India Travel Series in Rajasthan Video Transcript:
Our first stop in Jodhpur was Mehrangarh Fort, which is one of the biggest forts in India. The fort sits on a rocky hill overlooking the city and it pretty much dominates the skyline with its imposing walls. Admission to the fort itself is free, but if you’ve come all the way here, you’ll want to pay the admission to visit the palaces which now act as a museum.
Within the fort (मेहरानगढ़ का दुर्ग) you can also visit the ramparts, see the old cannons, and get some overhead views of the city which will quickly help you realize why Jodhpur (जोधपुर) is nicknamed the Blue City.
Then, after all that food and drink, it was finally time to get lost in the blue maze that is Jodhpur.
So right now we have ended up at the Sardar Market (सरदार बाजार) just around the clock tower (Ghanta Ghar). And I would say this is both a local market and a tourist market. You can get produce and like everyday things. Yeah, you see a lot of everyday like market stalls but you also see some more ones that are geared for tourists such as the ones where you can souvenirs, carpets and saris.
Jhankar in Jodhpur (जोधपुर). Oh, it was so good Actually it was one of the best meals we've had in India so far. Yeah. So we are heading back there for dinner. And it is all about Thali (थाली) tonight. We are going to get an original Thali (थाली) and a Rajasthani Thali (राजस्थानी खाना). Because we are in Rajasthan (राजस्थान ਰਾਜਸਥਾਨ) and they have a special Thali so we can't wait to try that out. Now it is off to find a little tuk-tuk. Alright, lead the way. Lead the way.
And that’s it for Jodhpur! Our two-day visit was short and sweet, but it was enough to get a taste of what the city is all about.
So that is a wrap from Jodhpur (जोधपुर). So we had a really good time in the Blue City. Um, it was only two days but I felt like we did quite a bit. Did you enjoy it? Yeah, the fort (मेहरानगढ़ का दुर्ग) was magnificent and the blue city was all it was supposed to be. Yes, so now we're moving on to Jaipur. We're just waiting at the train station. So we're going to catch our train. It is about a 6 hour journey. So relatively not too long but uh yeah can't wait to update you when we get there. Ciao for now.

Bajaj Chetak scooter: is it making a come-back in Indian market?
Employees work on an assembly line of Bajaj Auto at a manufacturing plant in India. It is the only major component of Bajaj’s scooters that is put together on the plant premises. The parts are sourced from various vendors and are assembled by the hardworking hands of men clad.
Standing in front of each other, the workers complete their part of the engine assembly and move onto the next mill.
The roles carried out by each of the workers are flexible and change from time to time ensuring that every hand on the assembly floor is capable of replicating the other. If a worker is unable to fit a part onto the engine, then the production line stops and the total output time of the line is recalculated to consider the time it will take to fix the defect or issue on hand.
The Bajaj Chetak was a popular Indian-made motor scooter produced by the Bajaj Auto company.] The Chetak is named after Chetak, the legendary horse of Indian warrior Rana Pratap Singh.
Originally based on Italian Vespa Sprint, Chetak was an affordable means of transportation for millions of Indian families for decades and is lovingly called Hamara Bajaj (Our Bajaj).
Around 1980, the Vespa-licensed design was replaced with an all-new in-house design that shared the same general appearance and style. During its heyday its chief competitor was LML NV made by LML India as a licensed copy of the Vespa PX 150. In the face of rising competition from bikes and cars, Chetak lost ground in India, and production was discontinued in 2005.
