BUDAPEST Castle Hill and Tuk-tuk Tour + Budapest Night drone
Today, I learned that I am a real DATA HOG!! I ran out of data. I had 5GB and used it in about 7 days! As the result, I missed my Buda Walking Tour because I didn't know where I was going on the tram. ????
The Budapest Castle District is simply beautiful! It is where the Buda Castle is located, and I saw the prettiest cathedral roof I've ever seen.
At night, I went on a unique Budapest Tuktukride, courtesy of Tuktuk Budapest and Visit Budapest. This is probably one of the most unique things to do in Budapest, and there's no shortage of fun to see the city on a tuktuk with a knowledgeable guide.
I also met someone who wanted to be in a vlog.
The tour also visits the Budapest Parliament, which is really well lit at night. You can spend hours here!
Oooooh, and I sent the drone up to check out Budapest by drone!
Special thanks to the friendly folks at Budapest Tourism for the complimentary Budapest Card:

While I was in Budapest, I used AirBnB. If you want to give AirBnB a try on your next trip, I recommend you do. You usually get the privacy of a hotel at a far cheaper price, and it makes your trip more personal.
You can get $40 off your first stay by using our referral link:
And if you want to stay at the place I used here in Budapest, it's pretty unique. It's a beer hostel (HOPstel!) and I think it's worth it! A large private room with a clean shared bath. And outside, there is a very popular bar with lots of craft brew choices.
And you'd think it would be loud there at night, but it definitely was not!

Rendhagyó iskolakezdés a Pető Intézetben. Idén a Budapest TukTuk is csatlakozott. Köszönjük, hogy ott lehettünk a sok motoros között és örömet szerezhettünk a gyerekeknek.

Thai TukTuk - Up Close, Inside Tour (Updated Video Available)
A look inside & around a TukTuk 3 wheel taxi in Thailand.
Most run on LPG (liquefied petroleum gas). For a while they looked like they were going extinct, but they've come roaring back. Literally. The poor man's taxi. The poor man's pickup truck. The poor man's second job:driving one. The let's-see-how-many-schoolgirls-we-can-pack-into-one-before-the-driver-says-no vehicle.
Sure TukTuks are fun.... once. That's why you see so many white tourists in them. Because the locals aren't stupid enough to ride in a hot, dirty 3 wheeled motorcycle with no AC and pay 5x the regular taxi fare. Oh, and locals know that most of the drivers are either drunk or just learning to drive... or both. OK, bit of an exaggeration.
Never ride one in the rain, unless your only alternative is walking (you'll be equally wet both ways, but at least your shoes won't be full of dirty water.)
I've seen them new for 185k baht or roughly $6k USD and a good used for less than half that.

Auto rickshaws are a common means of public transportation in many countries in the world. Also known as a three-wheeler, samosa, tempo, tuk-tuk, trishaw, autorick, bajaj, rick, tricycle, mototaxi, baby taxi or lapa in popular parlance, an auto rickshaw is a usually three-wheeled cabin cycle for private use and as a vehicle for hire. It is a motorized version of the traditional pulled rickshaw or cycle rickshaw. Auto rickshaws are an essential form of urban transport in many developing countries, and a form of novelty transport in many developed countries. However, in some parts of Europe they remain an essential mode of transportation, notably Italy.
Tuk Tuk Taxi
I went to Udaipur in Rajasthan during the summer. I decided to film while I was sat behind the taxi driver in an auto-rickshaw. The Lake City is where they shot a scene for the James Bond film Octopussy.
I used my handheld camera (no monopod) while we rode for 10-15 minutes.
I hope you enjoy the viewing! :-)

Cambodia's tuk-tuk rivals: Lingohack
There's a new gang in town: young, colourful, speedy and you see them just about everywhere in Phnom Penh.
But all's not well on the capital's increasingly crowded streets where ageing cyclos, motor taxis, locally made tuk-tuks and cars all battle for road space.
Need-to-know language:
cyclos – simple bicycle taxis
tuk-tuks – three-wheeled motorised vehicles used as taxis
auto-rickshaw – (also) three-wheeled motorised vehicle used as a taxi
ride-hailing – ordering a taxi to take you somewhere
carriages – (here) transport vehicles for paying passengers
