जालंधर भारत के पंजाब (भारत) प्रांत का एक शहर है। जालंधर एक बड़ा औद्योगिक शहर है। यहां चमड़े और खेल की वस्तुओं का अधिक उत्पादन होता है। जिस कारण यह सम्पूर्ण विश्व में विख्यात है। जालंधर पंजाब का सबसे पुराना शहर है। जालंधर वह जगह है जिसने देश को कई वीर योद्धा दिए है। जालंधर में ऐसे कई मंदिर, गुरूद्वारे, किले और संग्रहालय है जहां घूमा जा सकता है।
देवी तालाब मंदिर
देवी तालाब का यह मंदिर रेलवे स्टेशन से कुछ दूरी पर स्थित है। इस मंदिर की मरम्मत दुबारा की गई है। और फिर से इस मंदिर का निर्माण किया गया। इस मंदिर की इमारत का निर्माण अमरनाथ मंदिर के मॉडल की तरह करवाया गया है। देवी तालाब मंदिर के पास ही एक अन्य मंदिर भी है। यह मंदिर मां काली का है। सोने से बना यह देवी तालाब का मंदिर हरिबल्लभ संगीत सम्मेलन के लिए काफी प्रसिद्ध है। यह सम्मेलन प्रत्येक वर्ष दिसम्बर माह में होता है। इसके अलावा इस सम्मेलन का आयोजन पिछले 125 वर्षों से किया जा रहा है।
शिव मंदिर
यह मंदिर गुरू मंडी, ईमाम नसीर मकबर के समीप स्थित है। ऐसा माना जाता है कि इस मंदिर का निर्माण नवाब सुल्तानपुर लोदी ने करवाया था। इस मंदिर की वास्तुकला हिन्दू, मुस्लिम दोनों शैलियों से सम्मिलित है। इस मंदिर के प्रमुख द्वार का निर्माण मस्जिद की शैली में बना हुआ है। ऐसा माना जाता है कि जालंधर के नवाब ने एक नववधु के साथ विवाह कर लिया था जो भगवान शिव की भक्त थी।
वंडर लैंड
वंडर लैंड थीम पार्क एक एम्यूजमेंट वाटर पार्क है। यहां आप पानी में कई खेलों और झूलों का आनन्द उठा सकते हैं। यह पार्क तकरीबन 11 एकड़ में फैला हुआ है। यहां सभी उम्र के लोगों को ध्यान में रखकर झूले तैयार किए गए है। यह पार्क जालंधर बस टर्मिनल से 6 किलोमीटर और नाकोदर रोड़ पर स्थित रेलवे स्टेशन से 8 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर स्थित है। पानी के झूलों के साथ बंपर कार, फ्लाइंग जेट, हॉरर हॉउस, बोटिंग, प्ले हॉउस, फ्लाइंग डेरगन और स्लॉइड स्पैलेश आदि भी है।
तुलसी मंदिर
यह मंदिर वृंदा के नाम पर बना हुआ है जो जालंधर की पत्नी थी। यह मंदिर कोट किशन चंद जगह पर स्थित है। जिसे अब तुलसी मंदिर के नाम से जाना जाता है। इस मंदिर के एक तरफ टैंक है। ऐसा कहा जाता है कि इस जगह पर जालंधर नहाया करते थे। मंदिर से कुछ ही दूरी पर गुफा मंदिर भी है। इस मंदिर में अन्नपूर्णा देवी की प्रतिमा स्थापित है। इसके अलावा पास ही में ब्रह्म कुंड भी है।
गुरूद्वारा चेवीन पदशाही
गुरू गोविन्द सिंह जब दौबा क्षेत्र में यात्रा के लिए आए थे, उस दौरान वह जालंधर शहर भी आए थे। गुरूद्वारा चेवीन पदशाही जालंधर शहर के बस्ती शेख में स्थित है। यह गुरूद्वारा उसी स्थान पर स्थित है जहां गुरूजी ने मुस्लिम संत को जिन्हं शेख दरवेश के नाम से जाना जाता है को साक्षात्कार दिया था। साक्षात्कार लेते समय संत ने अपनी आंखे बंद कर ली थी और उन्होंने गुरू को नहीं देखा था।

According to Shrimaddev Bhagwat Purana, friends ... Once Lord Shiva threw his sharpness into the sea, which created Jalandhar. It is said that there were wonderful powers inside Jalandhar and the reason for his powers was that his wife was Vindha.
Because of the patriarchal religion of Vrinda, all Goddesses were not able to defeat Jalandhar too, and thus the Jallandhar became proud of its power and began to recite Vrinda's patriotism religion.
Jalandhar defeated Indra first to prove himself omnipotent, after which Jalandhar defeated Lord Vishnu and planned to snatch Lakshmi from them, that is why he invaded Baiukanth,
But Goddess Lakshmi told Jalandhar that both of us were born from water, so we are both brothers and sisters. Jalandhar was impressed by his talks and went from there.
Jalandhar knew that if anyone is the most powerful in the universe, then it is God Dev's God Mahadev. And so he planned to attack Kailash
Mahadev then had to fight with him but due to the recitation of his wife Vrinda, every attack of Lord Shiva was stuck on Jallandhar; in a war with a Maya, he confused all the gods, including Mahadev.
And he himself reached Kailash in the form of Mahadev, but Mother Parvati realized from him that he was Jaldhara who came as a Mahadev, so he became very angry and lifted his weapon to kill him.
Jalandhar knew that Mother Goddess of Parvati Shakti is a form of Durga and she can not defeat them at this time, so she escaped from there.
Then when Goddess Parvati described Bhagvan Vishnu to Lord Vishnu, Lord Vishnu told Devi Parvati that the reason for this unimaginable power of Jallandhar is his wife Vrinda, who does chanting before every war of Jallandhar, Is received.
In the end, Lord Vishnu planned and took possession of Jalandhar and reached the Goddess Vrinda. Vrinda, who understood Lord Vishnu as her husband, started behaving like a wife with her, hence the tenacity of Vrinda fell apart and Lord Shiva slaughtered Jallandhar.
Then Goddess Vrinda cursed Lord Vishnu that one day he would also be separated from his wife, and for this reason Lord Vishnu Ram was separated from Mother Sita because of Ravana in the incarnation of Lord Ravan.
When Lord Vishnu dissolved the virtue, Goddess Vrinda committed suicide, then the Tulsi plant born on that ash. Tulsi's plant is a form of Goddess Vrinda, and since then Pusa of Lord Vishnu is considered incomplete without Tulsi ji.
In the Punjab province of India, the present Jalandhar city is lying on the name of Jalandhar. In Jalandhar, there is a temple of Vrinda, wife of Asur Raj Jalandhar.

Tulasi Vivah is the ceremonial marriage of the Tulsi plant (holy basil) to the Hindu god Vishnu or his Avatar Krishna.According to the Hindu scripture’s, the Tulsi plant was a woman named “Vrinda” (Brinda; a synonym of Tulsi). She was married to the Asura king Jalandhar, who due to her piety and devotion to Vishnu, became invincible. Even Shiva could not defeat Jalandhar, so he requested Vishnu - the preserver in the Trinity - to find a solution. Vishnu disguised himself as Jalandhar and tricked Vrinda.
