Semporna Town: A Gateway to Tun Sakaran Marine Park
Taman Marin Tun Sakaran - Melindungi Terumbu dan Menyokong Kehidupan
Taman Marin Tun Sakaran telah ditubuhkan pada tahun 2004 bertujuan untuk melindungi ciri-ciri yang menakjubkan dan kehidupan biodiversiti yang tinggi di kawasan ini. Terletak di luar pantai timur laut pulau Borneo, berkeluasan 340km persegi meliputi kawasan laut, terumbu karang dan 8 buah pulau, ia merupakan Taman Marin yang terbesar di Malaysia. Taman Marin ini merupakan sebuah tempat yang indah lagi menarik dan kaya dengan sumber asli serta biodiversiti yang tinggi. Tetapi keistimewaan Taman ini juga terancam dan tindakan perlu dilakukan seandainya ciri-ciri unik Taman ini perlu dikekalkan.
Video ini memaparkan apa yang kita semua boleh lakukan untuk melindungi alam sekitar dan memastikan Taman Marin Tun Sakaran kekal sebagai 'tempat yang istimewa' bagi masyarakat dan juga hidupan liar.
Filem ini telah dihasilkan sebagai sebahagian daripada program masyarakat yang dikendalikan oleh Projek Darwin Pulau-Pulau Semporna. Projek ini sedang dilaksanakan di Taman Marin Tun Sakaran oleh Marine Conservation Society (UK) dan Taman-Taman Sabah, dengan pembiayaan daripada Darwin Initiative.

This is an Amazing trip in SEMPORNA and should be my best travelling video by BEBOP 2. TUN SAKARAN must be one of the ten most crystal clear water in the world. We have a wonderful week staying in there. Swim with Sea turtle, jumping, diving, snorkling, all are fantastic and worth to be named as THE HIDDEN PARADISE.

Bohey Dulang is a mountainous island formed by the remnants of an ancient volcano.
It is separated from Bodgaya, the biggest island in Tun Sakaran Marine Park, by a shallow channel.
The crater forming Bohey Dulang is now flooded with seawater creating a large, majestic lagoon 25m deep.
The southern side of the lagoon is open, but just below the aqua-coloured water’s surface is a long stretch of coral reef representing the southern crater rim

Bohey Dulang Island
Bohey Dulang is the second largest island of Semporna Islands Park (or Tun Sakaran Marine Park) and it has one of the most beautiful scenery in Sabah. You can reach this island in 30 minutes by a boat from Semporna town, then hike 600 Meters to the top of its hill for a breathtaking view. More info:

It is a marine park consists of 8 and more islands. However, for tourist route will be only Tatagan Island, BoheyDulang Island, Sibuan Island and Mantabuan Island. This is one of the best tour that you can get in Semporna, Tawau, Sabah.
