Wild India:-
The Oriental dwarf kingfisher (Ceyx erithaca), also known as the black-backed kingfisher or three-toed kingfisher, is a species of bird in the family Alcedinidae.
This is a small, red and yellow kingfisher, averaging 13 cm (5.1 in) in length, yellow underparts with glowing bluish-black upperparts. A widespread resident of lowland forest, it is endemic across much of the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia. It is found in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Sri Lanka, and Thailand.
The preferred habitat is small streams in densely shaded forests. In the Konkan region of southwest India, it begins to breed with the onset of the southwest monsoon in June. The nest is a horizontal tunnel up to a metre in length. The clutch of four or five eggs hatches in 17 days with both the male and female incubating. The birds fledge after 20 days and a second brood may be raised if the first fails. The young are fed with geckos, skinks, crabs, snails, frogs, crickets, and dragonflies. The rufous-backed kingfisher is sometimes considered a subspecies.
Videos based on any Wildlife of India...The wildlife in India comprises a mix of species of different types of organisms. Dear Guys,
In this Video We show you some HIDDEN CAVE DISCOVERED IN VASAI.
HIDDEN CAVES DISCOVERED IN VASAI - PAROL VILLAGE
Few months ago there was a news about hidden caves discovered in Vasai by a Virar resident Siddarth Kale, who is a Masters degree in Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology.
I was very excited to visit this place & click some photographs.
I somehow got in touch with Siddarth Kale through Facebook & decided to visit this place when our both of us schedule is free. Finally on Sunday morning 16 April, 2017 i visited the place with him on his bike which is 2025 feet above sea level.
This place is called PARSHURAM KUND
It's at the topmost peak of Tungareshwar mountain (Near Shree Sadanand Maharaj Ashram). From parol it is 7 Kms distance by walking.
Today by the grace of Shree Sadanand Maharaj Ashram there is a better way for the jeeps and other vehicles to climb.
Siddarth told me that while doing his research work for the Archaeology department since April 2016, he visited 52 villages in Vasai taluka and explored the area in search of archaeological remains.
There are two ancient temples in the Parol village which are not yet reported to the Archaeological Survey of India. Due to the bad quality rock, not many figured out that there were hidden caves in the hill, but due to archaeological knowledge & study he was able to find out the place. The caves have five water cisterns (Rock-cut water tanks), which too are yet to be reported. It's not sure about which century these caves belong to.
Sharing some pictures clicked by me.
Thank You for your wonderful time Siddarth Kale
He also explained the detail about how the caves is been structured which can be seen in the video.

Tungareshwar Waterfall | Temple | Wildlife Sanctuary | Travel Vlogs
Tungareshwar is a mountain plateau situated between Virar and Vasai. It is a dense forest region – in the monsoon, the surroundings are lush and green, and interspersed with flowing waterfalls. At an altitude of about 2,177 feet, it is a popular destination for trekkers. In a bid to improve the habitat for animals, and safeguard more territory for predators such as leopards, Tungareshwar was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 2003.

Tungareshwar Wildlife Sanctuary Trail Riding
This time round i thought to take my scooter for some off roading. I took my Aprilia SR150 and hit the off road trails of Tungareshwar. It was super fun to ride through the harsh terrain which consisted of Stones, Muck and Big Stones. The Aprilia did amazingly well.

My camera phone..
