Tupelo Mississippi My visit to Elvis Presley's Birth Place
My visit to Elvis Presley's Birth Place was fun just to take a short stop to see it was worth it to me, I also liked the Veterans Memorial Park. Tupelo is a real nice clean town and the people there where friendly. Real easy place to stay in a van to.
I think of my life now as a wonderful play that I've written for myself, and my soul purpose in life now is to have the utmost fun playing out my part.

President Trump is throwing his full support behind Republican Senate candidate Cindy Hyde-Smith, ahead of her runoff election against Democrat Mike Espy on Tuesday.
Mr. Trump is holding two rallies for her Monday — one in Tupelo, Mississippi, and then one 300 miles to the south in Biloxi, Mississippi. Mississippi voted overwhelmingly for the president in 2016. Support for Mississippi's Flag Remains
(17 Aug 2017) Some residents in southern Mississippi say they stand by their state flag - the last state flag featuring the Confederate battle emblem.
Rod Ward of Bay St. Louis says that while he prefers not to display the flag on his home or office, he reserves the right for people who do.
He says since the recent violence in Charlottesville, Va., the meaning behind the flag has been misrepresented. White supremacists waved the Confederate battle flag amid weekend violence in Virginia, prompting critics to say Mississippi should remove the symbol from its state banner.
Mississippi has the last state flag featuring the Confederate battle emblem — a red field topped by a blue tilted cross dotted with 13 white stars. The flag has been used since 1894. About two-thirds of the people who voted in the 2001 election voted to keep the design, a margin that roughly reflected the proportion of white to black residents.
Devin Pierre, a Bay St. Louis resident and cook who is black, says the emblem has through time become known for something it was not originally intended. He says the emblem represents independence, economic freedom and self-sustainability.
The flag's supporters, including members of Sons of Confederate Veterans, say the banner represents history and heritage. Opponents say the Confederate emblem is a racist symbol that harkens to slavery and segregation, and that it presents a distasteful image of the state.
While fewer residents appear to be hanging their flags on homes and cars, Kiln resident Dolly Lee has hers hanging from her front porch. She says the flag has been a symbol of Mississippi pride as long as she can remember and that both her grandparents and parents displayed the flag at their homes.
