Terquoise '' Tatla Lake ''
Tatla Lake is a small unincorporated community in the west Chilcotin area of British Columbia, Canada, located at the west end of its eponymous lake. Situated 220 km west of Williams Lake along Highway 20 (Chilcotin Highway), Tatla Lake's 123 people live approximately halfway between the two ends of the highway; Williams Lake to the east and the coastal community of Bella Coola to the west. The community is the service centre for three major mountain valleys of West Branch, Chilko and Tatlayoko. These valleys extend southward via secondary roads to the south.
Tales & Trails of the Chilcotin, Bella Coola and Beyond: A Motorcycle Journey
My name is GrizzLee.
This is a story of riding a motorcycle to some of the most extraordinary country on the planet.
Several years ago, I accidently stumbled on an incredible land known as the Chilcotin. It is magical place of beauty and history. The area contains not only huge rivers and mountains but also contains some of the largest ranches in North America and is home to one of the densest populations of Grizzly bears in Canada. This is the land of the Tsilhqot'in 1st Nations people; a land where one can see true cowboys; a land rich in spirit and adventure. Because of its sparse population, lack of paved roads (you will not find strip malls out here and even petro is sparse) a trip to the Chilcotin is always an adventure and more than that, it is a spiritual affair.
This preview video provides a glimpse of my firsthand experience of riding a motorcycle through lowland rain forests, high mountain plateaus, glaciated peaks, wild rivers, crystal clear lakes, arid deserts, high passes and life at the edge of a continent. There is a lifetime of exploration and adventure out there.
I hope you enjoy this slice of adventure from my perspective ~GrizzLee

South Chilcotin hiking trip Sept 2 -5 2016
A 4 day hiking trip I did in the South Chilcotins Mountain Provincial Park and Big Creek Provincial Park in British Columbia. The route began and ended at the Relay Creek Trailhead and went up Little Paradise Creek through Lorna Pass to Lorna Lake, up Sluice Creek and over to the head of Grant Creek and Tosh Creek then over to Vic Lake and Mt Vic. I returned by DIl Dil Plateau to Graveyard Cabin and out through Relay Creek. The weather wasn't the best but it is a beautiful area!
Central Coast BC
Traveling through the Chilcotin in to Tweedsmuir park and down to Bella Coola, we find several species of Salmon coming up the rivers to spawn... and of course lots of grizzly bears. Late summer/early fall is a great time to travel this area of BC as the colours start to change but the weather is still warm and worthy of a great adventure!

Mount Edziza
Every Year me and my friends do a trip we like to call our “Boys Trip.” This year we wanted to do something Unlike anything we have done before. After looking into many ideas we voted on the Mount Edziza Hike. Mount Edziza is a stratovolcano, in Northern British Columbia. It’s covered in glaciers, surrounded by cones and has a vast plateau. Our trip consisted of a float plane ride into Buckley Lake. A 75 km hike up and over the top plateau, and past the many cones such as Eves Cone, Coffee Crater and Cocoa Crater. A a float plane ride out of Mowdade Lake. It was 7 awesome days of hiking seeing some of the most wild untouched land British Columbia has to offer. I put this video together with mostly phone footage. Please Enjoy!
