Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Museum Model Train Layout in a Train Car
The HO model train layout at Baltimore's B & O Railroad museum. This is not the layout that existed at the museum for decades, it's much newer. It may date to the 2003 collapse of the main roof from heavy snow. It's in a railroad car so it's long and narrow, representing the railroad from the port of Baltimore out to the steel plans in the Ohio Valley. This is a 2D conversion of a 3D video.

This is second part of the video from Cascade Rail Foundation's 2011 Milwaukee Employees Annual Luncheon (M.E.A.L).
M.E.A.L. is Cascade Rail Foundation's way of thanking the former employees of the Milwaukee Road for their service on the railroad. Several attendees allowed us to interview them about their experiences on the Milwaukee.
In this segment, former Milwaukee Road conductor Jack Denning talks about his time on the railroad.
Cascade Rail Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the memory of the Milwaukee Road railroad in Washington state. For more information about Cascade Rail Foundation, visit milwelectric.org.

Steamboats On The Red
Looking at the shallow twists and turns of the Red River, its hard to imagine that steampowered paddlewheel boats were once the most important transportation link between St. Paul and Winnipeg. From the first in 1859 to the last that sank in 1909, Red River steamboats hauled thousands of settlers and millions of pounds of freight across the border. Although it lasted barely 50 years, the age of the steamboat forged a commercial network between the United States and Canada that exists to this day in the I29 corridor.
To shine a spotlight on this important piece of prairie history, Steamboats on the Red examines the history of steamboat transportation on the Red River and the impact this important trade route had on the development of the region.

St. Paul City Council Member: 'Streetcar Idea obscene'
A long-time St. Paul City Council member did not mince any words calling the proposed $250-million streetcar idea obscene. City Council member, Dan Bostrom, thinks spending nearly $50-million dollars per mile, for streetcars is not a smart investment. Bostrom tells 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS, I would rather give every business along the corridor a million dollars and that would generate more economic development than the streetcars.
THE HISTORY OF THE RICE LAKE, DALLAS & MENOMONIE RAILWAY
This is a much-condensed history I originally did in the early 1980's for the Soo Line Historical Society. I then produced a one-hour Power Point presentation as a clinic for the South Central Wisconsin Division of the NMRA in 2002 from which I derived this video.
The RLD&M originally ran in northwest Wisconsin from 1893-99 then was absorbed into the Soo Line. The last vestige of the line was abandoned within the past 10 years.
See the other half of this presentation describing how I modeled this line in HO scale at:

Pregnant Mom Dies in Car Crash That Suspect Livestreamed on Facebook
A professional boxer, who allegedly crashed his car into a pregnant mother of four, livestreamed the immediate aftermath of the accident instead of helping the woman. Krystil Kincaid, 29, and her unborn child were killed in the crash, which police said was the fault of boxer Marcos Forestal, 28, who was allegedly driving under the influence at the time of the incident and veered into the wrong lane before slamming into Kincaid.
