Alexandra Falls - Twin Falls Gorge Territorial Park, Northwest Territories
Alexandra Falls is located on the Hay River in Northwest Territories, Canada. This waterfall, along with Louise Falls, make up Twin Falls Gorge Territorial Park. The two waterfalls are just a few kilometres away from each other with Alexandra further upstream from Louise.
This waterfall is shaped in a horseshoe, somewhat similar to Niagara Falls. The water plunges 32 metres or 105 feet. For reference, Niagara is 51 metres high or 167 feet. The water soon after empties into Great Slave Lake and eventually makes its way to the Arctic Ocean.

Description
Alexandra Falls, Northwest Territories, Canada
A short distance after crossing into the Northwest Territories from Alberta, I saw the sighs for Twin Falls Territorial Park along the Mackenzie Highway 1. My wife Tori and I were on an epic camper van trip to Yellowknife, and stopping at Twin Falls proved to be one of the highlights of our road trip. Alexandra Falls is one of two impressive falls, only a short distance from each other on the Hay River, Alexandra is the tallest and most powerful of the two. In winter, the 105 foot falls becomes totally incased in ice, and you can cross country ski up the succeeding gorge right to it's base. The falls lies a short walk off the highway and Twin Falls Territorial Park offers camping. More amazingly, Alexandra Falls is one of several impressive falls that lies on the Northwest Territories renown Waterfalls Route, which is part of the larger Deh Cho Travel Connection.

Louise Falls in Canada's Northwest Territories
Louise Falls is a waterfall on the Hay River in Canada's Northwest Territories. It is the second waterfall in the Twin Falls Gorge with Alexandra Falls just three kilometres upstream to the south. Louise Falls is shorter than Alexandra at 50 feet or 15 metres. Despite that, the three tiered waterfall is pretty impressive, especially when water levels are high, like in the video.
Louise Falls is located within the Twin Falls Gorge Territorial Park near the town of Enterprise and not far from from the border with the province of Alberta.
It should be noted that the first four clips of the video were taken at midnight, at the start of July. At that time of year, the sunset is around 11:15pm but it never really gets dark. It should also be noted that at the time of the filming, all rivers in southern Northwest Territories had quite high water levels due to flooding in northern Alberta and British Columbia.

Sambaa Deh Falls in Canada's Northwest Territories
Sambaa Deh Falls are located on the Trout River in Northwest Territories. The MacKenzie Highway crosses the river right at the waterfall. Right off the other side of the highway is the Sambaa Deh Territorial Park which offers 20 non-powered campsites.
Sambaa Deh Falls is the result of the waters of the Trout River being squeezed through a narrow gorge, creating a gauntlet of powerful water. The waters then continue on until the Trout River empties into the MacKenzie River.
The park was created in 1992 and is located between Fort Providence and Fort Simpson. Fishing in the river includes Arctic Grayling.
Lady Evelyn Falls in Canada's Northwest Territories
Lady Evelyn Falls is located seven kilometres south of the MacKenzie River in Canada's Northwest Territories, on the Kakisa River. The waters come from Northern Alberta and empty into the MacKenzie River north of Lady Evelyn Falls. Eventually, the waters flowing over the waterfall empty into the Arctic Ocean.
The waterfall is part of Lady Evelyn Falls Territorial Park. The campground has 23 spacious powered sites with the river right in the background. Access to the base of the waterfall is possible via a rope down a short, steep stretch of cliff.
