WW2 Typhoon pilots from the various commonwealth countries were on hand to witness the dedication of the memorial at Noyers Bocage , France. The memorial honours all those who flew Typhoons in the liberation of France, those who survived and the 655 pilots and 21 ground crew who paid the ultimate price.

John Friedlander - WWII Typhoon pilot
Canadian WW2 Typhoon Pilot John Friedlander describes aspects of the Typhoon and his involvement with it during his many sorties as a fighter bomber during WW2 flying with the RAF. John was in France for a dedication of a memorial to all the Typhoon pilots who flew during the liberation of France.
Pajama Boys - WWII RCAF 440 Squadron
Canadian WW2 RCAF 440 Squadron Typhoon pilots Bill Clifford and Harry Hardy, lifelong friends, are about to turn in for the night in Arras, France. They were in France touring airfields and attending a dedication of a monument which was unveiled honouring all the Typhoon pilots who fought for the liberation of France. They were in their pajamas when they were asked a few questions about their experiences. It is nice to see these pilots still can recall some fine detail and share a laugh about their experiences more than sixty years previous.
