Saying our goodbyes, we grab our bags and walk off.
互道再見後 我們提著包包離開
We’re in Fengyuan now, a small city in Taichung.
我們現在在豐原 台中的一個城市之一
It’s actually the first city I ever visited
這其實是我拜訪的第一個台灣城市
when I first came to Taiwan 3 years ago,
在三年前我第一次來台灣時
This place is the bridge between our easy going life with Sherry’s family, and our busy city life.
豐原像是連結我們忙碌生活和Sherry家人的橋樑
Making our way to the station now.
現在要走去搭車了
We sit down and wait,
我們在空位坐下等待客運來
watching summer clouds pass in the distance.
看著遠方的夏季雲朵飄過
Our bus arrives and we show our tickets and take our seats.
我們的客運終於來了 驗票後上車坐下
We drive out of Fengyuan now, towards Taipei.
從豐原開往台北
The city around us begins to disappear
我們漸漸駛離城市
and we find ourselves in the country.
週遭的由鄉村風景取代
This bus is bringing us across the bridge.
客運帶著我們過了一座橋
As I drive, I think back to the last week,
搭車的同時 我回想起過去這個禮拜
and all the memories that occurred.

The meal I had with Sherry and her mom…

sparked by Aaron and Ethan’s graduations.

I sit in the bus now looking out the window,

and watching the light bounce around me.

I love busy life I have in Taipei,

but there is really nothing like taking a break,
但沒有任何一件事能比暫時休息更美好
especially with people you really like.

It really helps refresh your mind and perspective.

Kuo Kuang Unveils New Taipei Hub
In a effort to compete with the newly opened Taoyuan Airport MRT, domestic long-haul bus operator Guo Guang unveiled a new $100-million Taiwan dollar station in Taipei today where the company is offering $107 NT one-way bus tickets to Taoyuan International Airport. The two-story building located between the M1 and M2 exits at Taipei Main Station features a comfortable lobby and 24-hour service. Guo Guang is also planning to switch over to an all-electronic ticketing system, in the hope that the potential saving in staffing costs can be passed on to consumers in the form of lower ticket prices.
ITRI Autonomous Driving Bus
ITRI Autonomous Driving Vehicle (ADV) is the first autonomous driving midsize bus carrying up to 20 passengers for urban area, with driving abilities in signalized and mixed traffic roads. This technology was developed under the Surrounding Sensing Subsystem (S3) Project sponsored by Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) in Taiwan.
