WILD ELEPHANTS IN UDAWALAWE | SRI LANKA
Sri Lanka 2018: Episode 5 of 8
This April, we spent two weeks travelling around Sri Lanka with Trails Asia, a new tour company that specialise in ethical travel. In this episode, we visit the Elephant Transit Home in Udawalewe, where over 100 baby orphaned elephants have been rescued and rehabilitated, before going on a wildlife safari in Udawalawe National Park, where we manage to see dozens of elephants in the wild. While in Udawalawe, we stayed in an amazing campsite, which had tents with a toilet, a sink, and even a shower!
Thanks to Trails Asia for the unforgettable tour!

Best accomodation for safari | Udawalawe, Sri Lanka
Hi travellers,
In this video I show the amazing accomodation I stayed in Udawalawe called the Ceylon Ibis Bungalows. I was well surprised, as its so much better than where I live in China.
I used booking.com and was so happy with the result:
Kalan, the owner is so amazing and super friendly and helpful. I cannot wait to go back!!
There are a few different room layouts, depending on the size of the group you're travelling with. All are just lovely and it's so clean.
This was hands down THE best accomodation I stayed in and I do hope you can go and visit too.

ABOUT:
Travel has changed my life and I have no plans on stopping any time soon.
That's why I am now running this video blog showing you how to travel the world continuously
FAQ:
How did you learn to edit?
I taught myself. I downloaded Premiere Pro and began to figure out how to use it through trial and error. My videos were pretty bad at first but eventually, and with the help of many tutorials, you start to figure out what works.
Premiere Pro Link:
What work are you doing?
I started off running this video blog while doing freelance web design and video editing to supplement my travelling lifestyle. I now rely solely on this blog to generate revenue through advertising, affiliate links and sponsorship opportunities.
How do you meet the people in your videos?
Hostels, guesthouses and conversations! You meet people so easily while travelling. Just open yourself up and you will meet all sorts of amazing people.
'
Where do you live?
Right now, I travel the world continuously and so do not have a permanent base or home anywhere. I am not sure how long this is going to be the situation but right now I just want to keep travelling.

The elephants of Sri Lanka | UDAWALAWE National Park Ep. 30
Mountains on the back, heading south towards the ocean. Somewhere in between is the Udawalawe National Park.
This national park covers an area of more than 300km2.
Mostly known for its elephants, you will find countless other animals such as: peacocks, crocodiles, monkeys, water buffaloes etc
Elephants have an ultra-fine sense of smell, so if you do not want to lose your bag like our teammate, avoid taking food into the park.

Governor's Camp Udawalawa
Traveling is about finding things you never knew you were looking for .
.
.
My stay at Governor's Camp Sri Lanka was absolutely a wonderful experience. Our lodging for the amazing two nights spent here were basic yet so comfy tents which can easily accommodate up to 4 beds without a problem. If tents are not for you they also have a well air conditioned room adjoining the dormitory area.
.
.
This beautiful property facing the crocodile free Kiribban Lake has 4 kayaks of its own and two motorboats which you can take for a spin on the lake if you know your way around a motorboat and even go for quick dip in the water to wash your weekend stress away .
.
.
Loved every moment spent here and i cant wait to go back just so i can relive my unforgettable kayaking experience here at Governor's Camp Udawalawa all over again !

SRI LANKA » Udawalawa Safari Experience
This was my first experience in a Safari in Asia, it was quiet interesting. I was able to see lots of wild elephants and the most funny part was that I got stucked in the middle of this experience!
Thanks for watching!
