Gari hili aina ya AUSTIN lilikarabatiwa na Chuo cha Ufundi (VETA) cha mjini Moshi mwaka 2014, ili kwendelea kuwa katika unadhifu na ubora wake.
Gari hili kwa sasa lipo katika ofisi ya makao makuu ya CCM, mkoa wa Kilimanjaro.

On 1st September 2019, a group of 31 of us from the University of Exeter, University of Plymouth, University of Stirling and University of Birmingham, set off from London and travelled to Moshi, Tanzania to begin our climb up the highest freestanding mountain in the world, Kilimanjaro, in aid of MRF. This is the first vlog of our journey, sorry we are so giggly and annoying we were just so excited and I don't really think any of us had ever expected this day to come when we signed up to it in October 2018. But here's the first vlog - they get more exciting I promise when we start actually climbing! But I didn't want to bore you with a fattttt 40 minute vlog, so enjoy this one instead!!

Travelling To Tanzania From Kenya on a Budget [Nairobi to Arusha, Kikuletwa, Moshi]
I thought it's a good idea to try to travelling to Tanzania from Kenya on a budget for 6 Days. I moved from Nairobi to Namanga border, Arusha, Moshi, Marangu, Tarakea border and finally back to Nairobi in 6 days time.
Believe it or not, I spent only Ksh. 14K (TZS 280,000 ) or simply 140 USD. Watch the entire video to see how I managed to travel on such a 'small' budget for a solo trip.

- Namanga border crossing - requirements; as a Kenyan one needs a passport or a temporary passport to travel to Tanzania. Apply one on Ecitizen ( One also requires a valid yellow fever certificate (done in hospitals and at the border for Ksh. 1500)
Driving one's vehicle from Kenya to Tanzania requires Comesa Insurance.
One doesn't require a visa to travel to Tanzania From Kenya or any other East African Country due to the Visa agreement.
Please note that there is no Uber or Taxify or any Taxi hail apps in Arusha, Moshi and Marangu. So be ready to deal with local taxis and shuttles.
If you can't handle all those logistics I would highly recommend you do a group tour with tour agency like this one ( which is even more cheaper and less hassle.

FYI, I did not climb Mt. Kilimanjaro or go on a safari on this trip. I did, however, see Kilimanjaro and rub shoulders with a lot of people who climbed the mountain and/or went on a safari or two. At the end of this video I share some pointers on how you can drive down your costs in the country when you are not on an expensive safari or mountain climbing adventure.
