Simhastha Festival 2016 in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh
The sacred fairs of all, Kumbh is believed as the largest gathering of masses for the salvation from all over the world. It finds mention in the Hindu mythology that at the time of wild scramble for the perpetuity between gods and demons, some drops of nectar was dropped on earth at Haridwar, Nasik, Prayag and Ujjaini. So, from that time the pious Kumbh is celebrated at all four places. City of Mahakaleshwar is one of them, where at the bank of Holy River Kshipra Simastha is organising in every 12 years.
