Walking in ULM / Germany ????????- 4K 60fps (UHD)
Ulm in the German state of Baden Württemberg is famous for it's church (Münster). Albert Einstein was born there. It is a relatively small city bordering to the big state of Bavaria.
We start this evening walk near sunset at the train station. The shops are closed and it's fairly quiet this evening. A few people in restaurants enjoy their evening.
We head to the Ulmer Münster, an impressive Gothic minster - the Ulm minter (German: Ulmer Münster) and walk a bit around it. We also see the city hall (Ulmer Rathaus) which is an important historical building for Ulm with many fescoes.
We walk head out of the old town towards the Danube river. A nice stroll along the city walls on one side and the Danube on the other. Back in the inner city we check a few streets showing the old Fachwerk architecture in Ulm. At last passing the Minster another time we head back to the train station ending this walk.

Ulm, Baden-Württemberg, em Stuttgart – Alemanha. Nas margens do rio Danúbio.
Local de nascimento de Albert Einstein (1879-1955), Prémio Nobel de Física de 1921.
80% do centro histórico da cidade foi bombardeado em 1944.
Uma história fez do pardal símbolo da cidade, o encontramos por todos os cantos.
A lenda nos conta que enormes vigas de madeira vinham de longe para a construção da catedral, porém, devido ao seu tamanho, não passavam pelo portão da cidade. Já prestes a arrombarem a porta, foi visto um pardal, que carregava uma longa palha em seu bico, para construir seu ninho. Este pardal voou com o ramo através do portão em sentido longitudinal o que repentinamente trouxe a solução para os trabalhadores entrarem com as vigas, pois insistiam entrar com elas no sentido transversal.

Catedral de Ulm - Ulmer Münster - Estilo gótico, é o símbolo da cidade.
“Solar Equation”. Elaborada pelo artista mexicano Rafael Lozano-Hemmer, e localizada no hall de entrada da catedral.

Relógio astronômico na Prefeitura de Ulm: Obra-prima da relojoaria medieval, construído em 1581, pelas mãos do relojoeiro mais importante da época, Isaac Habrecht. The Rathaus (Town Hall), built in 1370, featuring some brilliantly coloured murals dating from the mid-16th century. On the gable is an astronomical clock dating from 1520. Ulm was the richest city in the world at that time.

STREET VIEW: Innenstadt von Ulm in GERMANY
Wir starten unseren Rundgang durch Ulm mit Blick auf den berühmten Münsterturm. Er ist der höchste auf der Welt und deshalb nur schwer ins Bild zu bekommen. Es geht weiter über den Münsterplatz und einmal um das Münster herum, bevor wir die Umlaufbahn in Richtung Ulmer Rathaus und Marktplatz verlassen. Durch den Metzgerturm gehen wir hinunter bis zum Donauufer mit Blick auf Neu-Ulm. Unter der Metzig und den Weinhof geht es dann in Richtung Fischerviertel. Durch die Fischergasse gehen wir hinunter bis zum Setra-Museum und dann durch die Schwörhausgasse unter der Neuen Straße hindurch in die Lautengasse. Anschließend geht es über die Glöcklergasse in die Hirschstraße zurück auf den Münsterplatz.

Ulm ist eine an der Donau am südöstlichen Rand der Schwäbischen Alb an der Grenze zu Bayern gelegene Universitätsstadt in Baden-Württemberg. Die Stadt hat über 125.000 Einwohner (Stand Ende 2017), bildet einen eigenen Stadtkreis und ist Sitz des Landratsamts des angrenzenden Alb-Donau-Kreises.
Ulm ist nach dem Landesentwicklungsplan Baden-Württemberg eines von insgesamt 14 Oberzentren des Landes und bildet mit Neu-Ulm eines der länderübergreifenden Doppelzentren Deutschlands mit 183.323 Einwohnern. Ulm ist die größte Stadt im Regierungsbezirk Tübingen und in der Region Donau-Iller, zu der auch Gebiete des bayerischen Regierungsbezirks Schwaben gehören.
Die Stadt ist bekannt für ihr gotisches Münster, dessen Kirchturm mit 161,53 Metern der höchste der Welt ist. Weiterhin bemerkenswert ist die lange bürgerliche Tradition Ulms mit der ältesten Verfassung einer deutschen Stadt und einem Stadttheater, dessen Anfänge bis ins Jahr 1641 zurückreichen. In der Vergangenheit war Ulm Ausgangspunkt der Auswanderung der Donauschwaben, die donauabwärts mit sogenannten Ulmer Schachteln in ihre neuen Heimatländer im Südosten Europas fuhren.
Ulm, erstmals urkundlich genannt am 22. Juli 854, war Königspfalz und Freie Reichsstadt, ab 1802 bayerisch, ist seit 1810 württembergisch. Seitdem ist Ulm getrennt von seinem ehemaligen Gebiet rechts der Donau, das bei Bayern blieb und auf dem sich die Stadt Neu-Ulm entwickelte.
Berühmte Persönlichkeiten der Stadt sind beispielsweise der in Ulm geborene Albert Einstein (1879–1955), die Widerstandskämpfer Hans (1918–1943) und Sophie Scholl (1921–1943), die ab 1932 in Ulm aufwuchsen, sowie die Schauspielerin Hildegard Knef (1925–2002), die in Ulm geboren wurde.
