Ulriksdal Palace (Swedish: Ulriksdals slott) is a royal palace situated on the banks of the Edsviken in the Royal National City Park in Solna Municipality, 6 km north of Stockholm. It was originally called Jakobsdal for its owner Jacob De la Gardie, who had it built by architect Hans Jacob Kristler in 1643-1645 as a country retreat. He later passed on to his son, Magnus Gabriel De la Gardie, from whom it was purchased in 1669 by Queen Hedvig Eleonora of Sweden. The present design is mainly the work of architect Nicodemus Tessin the Elder and dates from the late 17th century.

Haga Park is located only 3 km north of Stockholm. The park is the first National Urban Park and is a very popular excursion sight with many attractions. Some of them are shown in this video, namely Copper Tents (Koppartälten), Gustav III's Pavilion, Echo Temple (Ekotemplet), Haga Palace (Haga Slott), Chinese Pagoda (Kinesiska Pagoden), Turkish Pavilion (Turkiska Paviljonen) and meny more. This video is seasoned with three melancholic and beautiful Asian songs: Aoki Kouichi sings Kakinokizaka no ie (青木光一 - 柿の木坂の家), Seri Youko sings Shiki no uta (芹洋子 - 四季の歌), Teresa Teng sings Ei lai shiang (鄧麗君 テレサ テン - 夜來香).

The Royal Palace of Stockholm one of Europe's largest palaces. The official residence of the Swedish sovereign since the 1700s, it packs in more than 600 rooms.

Kastellholmen Stockholm
Kastellholmen is a small island in the centre of Stockholm, Sweden, connected to the adjacent Skeppsholmen through the bridge Kastellholmsbron. It has an area of 31,000 m².On the island there is a small castle, Kastellet, which was built by Fredrik Blom. Kastellholmen has previously been known as Notholmen, Lilla Beckholmen and Skansholmen. Kastellholmen is part of the Royal National City Park.

I went exploring today, i found a potential location with google maps and vlogged about the journey through the forest. At the end of the journey i found an ant nest where the flying ants were spreading their wings to their nuptial flight to fly away and start their very own colony. I think the result turned out alright, the video quality turned out good and the audio is crisp but the flying ants got too close to the microphone from time to time.

Drottningholm palace near Stockholm - visit UNESCO protected royal castle in one video
The Drottningholm Palace is on UNESCO's World Heritage list. It is the most well-preserved royal castle built in the 1600s in Sweden and at the same time is representative of all European architecture for the period.
The Palace has been the present Royal Family's permanent residence. The rooms in the southern wing of the palace are reserved for this purpose. The rest of the palace and grounds are open to the public year round.

MORNING WALK TO A CASTLE IN STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN
Testing out the vlogging concept, exploring the nature of Bergshamra, Stockholm and the Ulriksdal Palace. A great daytrip or tourist destination, just 10 minutes from the city with metro. Some cinematic scenes mixed with some general information about the Ulriksdal area. Basically just an ordinary Saturday in October. Any feedback and suggestions is much appreciated!
