South Korea, Ulsan Science Museum, is located just outside the Ulsan Olympic Munsu stadium, which hosted the 2002 World Cup games.
Last week, Liam and visited the Museum with a couple of Liams friends and I decided to make a video about it. The place has four floors of fun and activities for children of all ages, and you can easily spend a couple hours exploring the different forces of nature in existence.
It closes early each day, so the best time to visit is on the weekend so as not to have to cut your visit short like we did. Although we did go on the weekend, but got there late.

Ulsan – the industrial city in Korea. It is the heart of the automobile industry in Korea. Hyundai created its first ever local model with independent technology. The historic factory in Korea was completed in 1968. Korea has 5 completed plant sets of factories that can produce vehicles from top to bottom. They have transmission and engine plants and a proving ground. It is the largest single automobile plant in the world. They also have a casting and forging shop that produces engine block with high-end casting process. It also produces parts with high pressure press machine. The engine shop builds independently developed world class engine. The press shop is capable of building various types of panels with the press machine. The welding shop uses automated robotic welding line. The plant’s paint shop uses eco-friendly water soluble paint. The assembly shop is capable of operating the assembly process efficiently with parts in modulization. Then they carry out an inspection process to ensure quality of the finished vehicles. It is the world’s first eco-friendly hydrogen vehicle mass production that exports pier can handle shipment to over 200 countries per year. They have a 3.2km proving ground that is a test track providing real road conditions.

Korean Roadtrip: Gyeongju, Ulsan, Busan

Climbing in Ulsan south Korea a trip down memory lane 2019, was inspired by my visit to Munsu mountain about a month ago. When I first arrived in Ulsan, I used to spend every single weekend up on the mountain, with a group of friends who loved the experience of just being out on the side of the mountain practicing their moves.
The climbing scene in Ulsan has been the most vibrant during those years, and from what I saw on this trip, it appears that there are no longer any expats who venture out to the side of the mountain.
While I would love to re-invigorate the climbing scene in the city, my time is limited as family and business keeps me busy, but I hope that this video brings some interest to the local expat community and maybe even encourage a few to head out for a climb once more.

The whole park is huge, but I was only on a 40 minute lunch break so could only film the entrance area and around the pond. Enjoy!
