Valley of Fire State Park Rappelling-Las Vegas Tours
Ultimate Desert Extreme Adventure
What an incredible Extreme Las Vegas Adventure: Sightseeing in the Valley of Fire State Park, Rappelling in the Valley of Fire State Park, and a Desert Zipline Experience.
The Valley of Fire State Park is Nevada's Oldest, and Largest, State Park, dedicated in 1935. It is located approximately 45 minutes from Las Vegas, right off Interstate 15.
The sandstone cliffs and fiery red rock formations are a photographer's dream, and the Native American Petroglyphs will amaze you with their detail and history. The earliest visitors to the Valley of Fire State Park were the Basketmaker People and the Anasazi Pueblo Farmers. They visited this area from approximately 300 B.C. to 1150 A.D., most likely for hunting, food gathering and religious ceremonies. The scarcity of water in the region would have prevented long inhabitations.
Your visit to the Valley of Fire State Park will include hiking, a stop at the Visitor's Center, viewing of the Petroglyphs, and Rappelling at Lone Rock.
The rappelling is some of the best in the area, and is great for both beginners and experienced Rappellers. All safety gear is included, and your Rappelling Guide is professionally trained, knowledgable about the area, and Wilderness First Aid Trained.
Tours available daily, approximately 6 hours from Hotel Pickup to Hotel Return

ATV Trail Ride to Devil's Throat NV (Nov 2017)
The wife and I took a ~70 mile (round trip) quad trail ride to see Devil's Throat (big sinkhole southeast of Mesquite NV). We tried to take as many off-the-beaten-path trails as possible. There were far more rocks than I was hoping to encounter...my swingarm skidplate took a pounding (YFZ450R quad)! So, I've decided to convert the wheels & tires to a Baja pre-runner configuration (+1 ground clearance all around).

Logandale Trails-Moapa Valley, NV
The Logandale Trails System (LTS) contains over 200 miles of trails, suitable for a variety of OHV types, as well as hiking and horseback riding. Be sure to respect the land and its resources during your visit. Otherwise, the LTS will lose what makes it a fantastic place for recreation.
The Logandale Trails System offers a unique recreation opportunity in Southern Nevada, with the opportunity to see rare plants and animals and petroglyphs left hundreds of years ago by inhabitants of the area. In order to protect the resources that make the LTS a special place, visitors have a responsibility to act in a way that is sustainable

Don't have an ATV to explore the Logandale Trails? No problem, rent an ATV at Law Powersports in Overton, NV and ride right from the shop to the trail system, no trailers needed.
