The research is about to seek answers on the question what's Assad's intentional signature behind the war in Syria but before the Russian 'intervention' in 2015.

Terrorists Sabotaged the Oldest Church in Syria

The terrorists of the so-called Free Syrian Army sabotaged several times the church of Um al-Zennar in the city of Homs. They left threats and calls on the Chrisitan community to join their Wahhabi revolution! This actually remidns us of the calls made by the French pig Alain Juppe on the Alawites and Christians to join the so-called Syrian Revolution.
The West-backed Syrian opposition conducted religious cleansing against both the Alawites and Christians in the city of Homs.

Um al-Zennar is an old Syriac Orthodox Church in Homs. The church is built over an underground church dating back to 50 AD. It is the seat of the Syriac Orthodox archbishopric.

Christian festival celebrated in Homs

Christians in Homs have been celebrating the Virgin Mary Day.
The city was recaptured by Syrian government forces earlier this year.
STORYLINE:
In the ancient church of Um al-Zennar in Homs, a Christian festival is being celebrated once again.
Incense and chanting fills the room as worshippers mark Virgin Mary Day, honouring the mother of Jesus Christ.
Homs, once a stronghold of anti-Assad rebels, was recaptured by Syrian government forces this year.
We thank God for the blessings in which we are living nowadays after peace was returned to this blessed city. We prayed today with this joy for the peace to be spread to the whole of Syria, says Archbishop Silwanes Boutros al-Ne'meh, Archbishop of Homs, Hamah and Tartous for the Syriac Orthodox Church.
The Virgin Mary Day tops off four days of festivities.
The Old City has been hosting musical shows and exhibitions.
Costumed children parade through the Christian neighbourhoods of the city and scouts fill the air with the beat of their drums.
The event has attracted local people, those from nearby villages and towns as well as expatriates who have returned home specifically for the festival.
We thank God, the Virgin Mary Um al-Zennar could gather us again, says local resident Sameeh.
All this happened after peace and security had been returned in Homs.
Another local, Lama, says the festival is amazing.
Syrian government forces supported by Iranian-organised militias and the Russian air force have recaptured much of the country's central Homs province from the Islamic State group in 2017.
Most of the province is desert. It contains several energy fields as well as phosphate minerals.
