The unique thing about the video is that it is presented by the young Tiger Ambassadors from various schools of Nagpur as well as from some other cities of the country.

Here's presenting a dedicated compilation video of our very 1st visit to Umred-Karhandla #wildlife sanctuary near Nagpur (Maharashtra, India). We entered from the 'Gothangaon' gate at 6 o'clock in the morning and were lucky enough to spot two famous tigers named 'Srinivas' and 'Bittu' under the bright sunlight at around 8 o'clock. This failed attack between the wild tiger and the Indian bison (Gaur) was gripping enough and was a damn good sight to behold !

'Wildlife' simply means those animals who remain distant from human activities.
Umred Karhandla wildlife sanctuary is home to the India's biggest tiger Jay. Jay is the only male Tiger in the 160 Sq Km Sanctuary with three females. Jay has over nine cubs from all the three females.
Adult cubs of Tiger T6 comes very close to the Tourist Gypsy. The tiger breaks the side mirror and also comes very close to the lady tourist.

Umred Karhandla Wildlife Sanctuary
Umred Karhandla Wildlife Sanctuary, about 58 kms from Nagpur, comprise of about 180 sq. Kms. The sanctuary falls under the two divisions, Nagpur Division (Kuhi and Bhiwapur Range) and Bhandara Division (Pauni Range), which are divided along the Maru River that flows close to Bhiwapur and joins the Vainganga River. 150 sq. Kms of forest towards the east of Pauni Nilaj road, provides connectivity to the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve. Number of species have been identified in this sanctuary, based on direct sightings and with the help of tracks and signs and substantiated by interviewing locals. Tiger, Sloth Bear, Leopard, Wild Dog, Ratel, Indian Fox, Wolf, Jackal and jungle cat are the main carnivore species found here. Whereas Gaur, Blue bull, Sambar Deer, Barking Deer, Wild Boars, Spotted Deers are the main herbivore species found in the sanctuary. Over the last few years, Umred Karhandla has seen increase in number of tourists as it is close to the city and also due to the increase in the number of tiger sightings.

Where the predators are less in number, chances of seeing herbivores are more. Umred Karhandla Widlife Sanctuary is about 60km away from Nagpur, Maharashtra. The Pauni gate is relatively closer and one can drive down from Nagpur to Pauni gate for safari. Got lucky to see this boar family crossing. Have never see this big a boar pride before. Short video :)
