A fantastic boat dive in Chiba, Japan that features a load of sharks and rays. This trip was out second large-scale, organized trip. We plan to have 1 or two trips to this site each month in 2015.
Tateyama Shark Scramble near Tokyo - DiveZone Tokyo 2016
Tateyama is located in Chiba not far from Tokyo and features a site known for huge schools of nurse sharks and rays. Dubbed “Shark Scramble”, the site is reachable by only 5-10 minutes by boat. The reason there are so many of these “puppy” sharks is because the locals feed them. Although we do not condone shark feed sites, it is being done to protect the sharks to keep them out of the nets of the fishermen. The sharks are quite harmless and docile and it is an amazing view to see them together with a variety of rays!

Japanese Shark Dive - Chiba Prefecture, Japan
Just one minute of an awesome shark dive in Japan. We were surrounded by Banded Houndsharks and Red Stingrays, as well as an assortment of other reef fish, including Asian Sheepshead and large Groupers. This was the first day of a Japanese Shark Diving Expedition with Big Fish Expeditions. Great start!

On the most southern part close to , Mikimoto island only 30-60 minute away by boat, is the most famous dive site. It is also known as the hammerhead shark location due to the Kuroshi, the black current. Large schools of hammerhead sharks have known to be admired here. Miyake island dolphin trip - DiveZone Tokyo 2015
We had the pleasure of returning to Miyake island which, although further away then Oshima, Niijima and Kouzushima, has water quality standard of AA, or 20+m visibility giving stunning blue water for nice photography.
We include a boat trip to Mikura-jima to admire the wild dolphins.
The seawater around the island is rich in subtropical marine life brought in by the warm Kuroshio, or Japan Current.
Before and after meeting the dolphins, we enjoyed diving around Miyakejima island which has stunning lavarock arcs full of fish, rays, turtles, lionfish, anemone fish, and so much more !!!

ジンベイザメの水中映像、千葉県の館山の海2011年10月に行きました。
2匹いて、3.5ｍと4.5ｍぐらいでジンベイザメ（Whale shark）にしては小ぶりですが、海の中でダイビングで見るとまるで潜水艦でちょっと怖いです。
