Been suuuper busy with final exams season and final projects/assignments, etc. But better late than never :) Hope you enjoy this university week in my life vlog! I live in a single room in the newly built c̓əsnaʔəm house (building 7) in the Totem Park Residence at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver campus. Need me to say, the experience in Totem Park has been far more incredible than I would've imagined!

Exploring British Columbia | 2017 Vancouver Summer Program | Studying Abroad UBC

Hello everyone! This is just a summary of my trip to British Columbia and some parts of Alberta during the 2017 Vancouver Summer Program in Clinical Research and Clinical Medicine at the University of British Columbia.

Driving Around UBC (The University of British Columbia) in Vancouver Canada - Tour of Campus

Hey, this is where all those smart people go, right?

We are driving around the University of British Columbia.

For those that commute from the south of Vancouver, there is a nice highway to enter the university. To the right of this highway is Pacific Spirit Regional Park. Be careful not to get lost late at night here.

At 4:16, there is TRIUMF, a physics research place.

As you can see by the construction around 4:35, this is a new-ish area for people to live.

At 8:54 we are in the campus. The left side is designated for sports related activities.

On the right at 9:23, you'll notice a RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) vehicle pull out of its station. Sometimes they have to break up fights among students on campus while on horseback.

At 12:37 (left), there is the university book store. This is where you can buy your UBC sweater.

To the left at 20:32 is the music department and the Asian Centre is to the right at 20:53. At the end of this road to the right is a nice little Japanese garden called Nitobe Memorial Garden.

23:55 (left) is where you go down to enjoy getting naked... yes, it's Vancouver's only clothing optional beach area (Wreck Beach).

That big building a bit past O' Canada is a concert hall (25:32) called the Chan Centre. The Frederic Wood Theatre is to the right by the way. The pub is on the left...

If you have the desire to overcharge people and society for legal advice, you'll be studying at Peter A. Allard School of Law (26:35).

A really neat museum that people should definitely visit is MOA (Museum of Anthropology) - 28:02.

The construction never seems to end at this school... 32:05.

33:04 is the new student union building (right).

Well, if you've read this far, I have to congratulate you. And as a small reward, I'm going to inform you that the best part of this video is the end where I drive down to Jericho Beach and Spanish Banks. There aren't too many university campus that are located so close to such stunning scenery (42:39).

You can see downtown Vancouver at 48:18. People who want to use this area in the near future will have to pay to park here. Thank you to the City of Vancouver for making this city more and more unaffordable and inconvenient to its citizens.
