Festival del Colibrí 2018 - Hummingbird Festival 2018
El 9 y 10 de noviembre de 2018 se llevó acabo el primer Festival del Colibrí en la delegación de Ahuacapán del Municipio de Autlán de Navarro, el cual fue un evento organizado por diferentes instituciones tanto educativas, privadas y gubernamentales de esta región.
Dicho festival fue dirigido por La Dra. Sarahy Contreras Martínez y La profesora Carolina Cabrera Ríos del Centro Universitario de la Costa Sur (CUCSur) de la Universidad de Guadalajara. En el festival se incluyeron actividades abiertas al público en general, entre estas hubo recorridos turísticos por la comunidad y caminatas por los senderos donde hubo avistamientos de aves.
Se incluyeron talleres y charlas enfocadas a la educación ambiental, así como un desfile por las principales calles de la comunidad de Ahuacapán.
En la organización del Festival del Colibrí participa El Ejido de Ahuacapán en colaboración con la dirección de la Reserva de la Biosfera Sierra de Manantlán, la JIRA, la Universidad de Guadalajara, el Grupo Arte y Biodiversidad en lo Cotidiano, el grupo de Naturaleza de Ahuacapán, Ayuntamiento de Autlán ,Compañeros de los Colibríes del Oeste, Environment for the Americas y VIDACINEMA.

On the 9th and 10th of November, the first Festival of the Hummingbird took place in the delegation of Ahuacapan of the Municipality of Autlan de Navarro, which was an event organized by different educational, private and governmental institutions of this region.
The festival was directed by Dr. Sarahy Contreras Martínez and Professor Carolina Cabrera Ríos of the Centro Universitario de la Costa Sur (CUCSur) of the University of Guadalajara. The festival included activities open to the general public, among which were tours of the community and hikes along the trails where there were bird sightings.
Workshops and talks focused on environmental education were included as well as a parade through the main streets of the community of Ahuacapán.
The Ejido of Ahuacapan participates in the organization of the Hummingbird Festival in collaboration with the management of the Sierra de Manantlán Biosphere Reserve, the JIRA, the Art and Biodiversity Group, the Nature group of Ahuacapan, Autlan Town Hall, western hummingbird partnership, Environment for the Americas and VIDACINEMA.

The routes of the pilgrims and the territorial development in Europe 02/18
Cultural routes, sustainable tourism and termal sites – these are the key words of a 3-day intensive working session of Cultour+ project co-financed by Erasmus plus. It was held in Cori, a quaint small town near Rome (60 kms south) that is crossed by Francigena route. More than 10 universities were present, several international experts will give word and explain their view on the main issues and on-going debates regarding cultural management. The conference is accredited on three prestigious international academic magazines, such as Tourism & Management Studies; Tourism and Hospitality Internacional Journalism; Estudios y Perspectivas en Turismo.
Cultour + is the framework of 3-year work of analysis on tourism enterprises and their usage of digital tools, as well as an incubation transnational lab on new ideas of young entrepreneurs. Universities, SMEs, coaches, public authorities have all collaborated to create something new that will be discussed in the following programme.
