ABOUT ATHÉSIA
With her silky voice and velvet eyes, with her magnetic charisma and radiant presence, singer Athésia has all the charm of a modern diva.
This singer-songwriter-composer has been singing for a decade in Montreal venues in French, English, Creole and Portuguese. Born in Montreal of Haitian parents, she has traveled as far as China, Brazil, Peru and Argentina to represent her culture on the occasion of the annual celebrations of the Francophonie around the world.
Athésia, accompanied by The Gentlemen, invites you to discover her jazzy bossa influences, sprinkled with Latin and Creole rhythms with a French touch.
Singing her own compositions of her latest album Athésia & The Gentlemen as well as remixed versions of classic standards, songstress Athésia invites you to an enchanting moment. An atmosphere that unites Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Françoise Hardy, Boris Vian, Massive Attack, The Doors and few bossa nova all in one voice, the voice of Athésia.
