Ushuaia or Ushuaia (Spanish, Ushuaia is pronounced) is the capital of the province of Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica and South Atlantic Islands, the southernmost of Argentina. Located south of the Tierra del Fuego Grand Island on the edge of the eponymous bay, near the Beagle Channel and southwest of the province, in the Ushuaia department, the city is considered to be the southernmost in the world. .
Ushuaia covers an area of 9,390 km2 and had 56,825 inhabitants in 2010. It has a deep-water port that is one of the closest to Antarctica and is surrounded by the Martial and Olivia Mountains and their valleys.

Ushuaïa a une superficie de 9 390 km2 et comptait 56 825 habitants en 2010. Elle dispose d’un port en eaux profondes qui est l’un des plus proches de l’Antarctique et est entourée par les monts Martial et Olivia et leurs vallées.

Ushuaia is the capital of the Argentine province of Tierra del Fuego and the southernmost city in the world. Ushuaia is located in a wide bay on the southern coast of the island of Tierra del Fuego, guarded on the north by the Martial mountain range and on the south by the Beagle Channel. Its population is estimated today at about 64,000.
The video begins as we sail into the harbour on the Star Princess. It then continues on land at the port and Plaza Civica. After a short journey through downtown is it back on board the Star Princess for the sail away.

A little tour in Ushuaia City in Tierra del Fuego, Argentina, one of the southest places at the end of the world and America Continent. I have some cam shake because I drive and filming at the time at is no easy. Hope enjoy it...
EXPLORING USHUAIA | Travel Day to Ushuaia
For our trip to Ushuaia, we had a quick 3-hour flight from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia that required a 2:00 AM wake up call. Needless to say we ended up taking it pretty easy for our first day in Ushuaia, in Argentina's Patagonia region. Known as 'el fin del mundo' or the 'end of the world,' Ushuaia is the jumping off point for visitors to Tierra del Fuego National Park as well as the embarkation spot for most expeditions to Antarctica. It's an unassuming small town surrounded by the dramatic Patagonian backdrop of rugged mountains and the Beagle Channel -- super beautiful scenery no matter which way you look!

Welcome to the edge of the world ! The city of Ushuaia is generally considered as the southernmost city in the world. In fact it's note, but anyway it is an amazing place for outdoor activities. Hiking, sightseeing, sailing, kayaking ! So many opportunities to explore the incredible surroundings of this city.
In this video, we went to Martial Glacier and to Cerro Guanaco. The first one is located above the city and the Mount Guanaco is a 6 hours trek located in the Tierra del Fuego National Park.
We really enjoyed this beautiful region and would recommend it to everyone !

Ushuaia - Failed Visiting the World's Southernmost City
Ushuaia is the world's southernmost city, a truly beautiful place with a fascinating heritage... and my visit there didn't even come close to doing it justice.
I foolishly booked only one day in Ushuaia, a Sunday: this meant that nearly everything was closed, and my short time frame for visiting the city meant that I couldn't really experience the museums or the national park. Regardless of my poor planning, Ushuaia is a fabulous city with terrific people. It is more than just a waiting room for those going on a voyage to Antarctica.

Vengan conmigo a pasear por Ushuaia, la ciudad mas al sur de todo el mundo.
Ya cuando estas llegando en avion, te invade un sentimiento que este lugar no es como los demas.
Es conocido tambien como el fin del mundo, y existen muchos tours que te llevan por l´Antartida, con estos penguinos que a tu lado acompanan el viaje.
Ushuaia podria parecer una ciudad normal, con una caotica avenida principal, y calles segundarias mas relajadas; pero no, despues te sorprende pensar que todos esos barcos estan yendo a direccion al polo sur, y cambia todo. E incluso el vuelo de las gaviotas parece ser parte de una poesia. Asi como pasear los perros es diferente en la Tierra del Fuego.
Y algo que distingue en Tierra del Fuego es el increible sentido de pertenencia sobre las islas Malvinas.
