Scuba Diving : Ustica, Sicily, Italy - Punta Falconiera
July 2019, 31st, in the afternoon, we did a dive in Sicily, on the island of Ustica. This place is a paradise for divers, lost in the mediterranean sea, 63 kilometers north from Palermo. It's the first protected marine area, since 1986.
This dive is called Punta Falconiera, in the south east of the island, not so far of the Ustica's harbour. Under the surface, walls run slowly into the deep, and are full of wild life typical from rocks : groupers, molluscs, morays... We were at 35 meters at maximum.

Scuba diving : Deep dive (43m) on Ustica, Sicily, Italy
August 2019, 3rd, in the morning, we did a dive in Sicily, on Ustica's island. This place is a paradise for divers, lost in the mediterranean sea, 63 kilometers north from Palermo.
This dive was a deep one -43 meters at maximum- on Punta Faconiera, near the Harbour of Ustica. That was our second time on this site, and seeing it from deeper was great ! The visibility was great, about 25 meters, with huge falling rocks. We've seen groupers, various crustaceans and molluscs, morays and sea hare.

August 2019, 1st, in the afternoon, we did a dive in Sicily, on Ustica's island. This place is a paradise for divers, lost in the mediterranean sea, 63 kilometers north from Palermo.
This dive is called Scoglio del Medico, in the north-west of the Island. That was our second time on scoglio, and I must say that it was one of my most incredible dive ! The subaquatic canyons were full of huge groupers, various crustaceans and molluscs, amberjack, barracudas and sea hare.

This dive is called Scoglio del Medico, in the north-west of the Island. We did two dives there. Here is the first. Amazing place, full of subaquatic canyons, in which we've seen different grouper's species, various crustaceans and molluscs, amberjack.

Immersione Sicchitello Ustica Maggio 2016 con DNA Shock Diving in Sicily e Blue Diving Ustica
L'immersione di Secchitello è caratterizzata dalla presenza di numerosi pinnacoli di altezza variabile, ricchi di gorgonie rosse che ne ricoprono le pareti. Girovagando tra i pinnacoli, a diverse profondità, da circa 24 mt a 50 mt, si possono ammirare banchi di Ricciole, Barracuda, Tanute, Dotti e Cernie.
Un grazie particolare va a Peppe, Maurizio ed Adriano del Blue Diving Ustica per la logistica, l'esperienza e l'alta professionalità.
Scuba diving : Cavern dive on Ustica, Sicily, Italy - Grotta dell'altare
August 2019, 4th, in the morning, we did a dive in Sicily, on Ustica's island. This place is a paradise for divers, lost in the mediterranean sea, 63 kilometers north from Palermo.
This dive is called Grotta dell'altare, near Grotta Verde in the south of the Island. This cavern is around 25 meters. Going inside is difficult because the opening is around 1 meter, and the bottom is full of vase: a wrong movement could blur all the visibility. It's full of shrimps, an endemic species of Ustica, orange and blue (blue part are eggs). Going there, we've seen groupers, various crustaceans and molluscs, as a fireworm.
