Utö is Finland 's southernmost inhabited island and it belongs to the Pargas city of the former Korpo municipality.
Utö covers an area of 81 hectares.
Utö is Finland's oldest lighthouse place. The first lighthouse was built in 1753, but it was blown up in the Finnish War . The current lighthouse was built on the former site in 1814.

So, I've spent a few days in and around Turku and had a lovely time. But now I want to see the famous finnish archipelago. So I'm gonna go over there and rent a bicycle.
Thus begins the trail to the beautiful and unique Turku archipelago with Alistair Logan. This journey is a one of a kind experience, which will stay with you.

Trip around Turku Archipelago
We did a trip around Turku Archipelago over the weekend. Turku Archipelago consists of a large number of beautiful islands including Nauvo, Korppoo, Houtskär, Iniö and many others. It is possible to drive around the Ring Road which goes through all the largest islands. The islands have several high-quality restaurants, hotels and sightseeing places that are well worth a visit.
