RAF Holmpton - Nuclear Bunker 8th April 2017
RAF Holmpton is a former Cold War era nuclear bunker that was built in the 1950s as an early warning radar station as part of the ROTOR Radar Defence Programme. Located just south of the village of Holmpton, in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England, RAF Holmpton remained a part of the Defence Estate right up to 8 December 2014 when it was sold into private ownership after 62 years of military service.
The site runs to about 36 acres (150,000 m2) and comprises a number of surface structures along with a secure 35,000 square feet (3,300 m2) command bunker which is about 100 feet (30 m) below ground.

Peek inside London's secret RAF Battle of Britain bunker | ITV News
There are many reasons why the Second World War was eventually won but one of them lies 60 feet under the ground, in west London. There, in Hillingdon, is a secret RAF bunker where Britain's defence against the Nazi invasion at the Battle of Britain was coordinated from. It is a place that has already been immortalised in film and now is opening for the public to see. ITV News London's Martin Stew went to have a look around.

RAF Bempton - Abandoned underground nuclear bunker - Urban exploring Yorkshire
After a few visits and a scary entrance we finally made it into Bempton bunker, although we were certainly not the first since it's closure in 2010 now being privately owned access was not easy by any means, was a very interesting explore and ALOT more than in the video a huge war room was unfilmable on just the phone and poor lighting, someone must have been living down here at some point not too long ago doing dodgey things and left in a hurry by the looks, alot of graffiti through out but strangest by fair the artwork left on the walls by a satanic sex cult once dwelling here many years ago
Saxby Auxiliary Bunkers, N. Lincs.
A short walk in the woods looking for more auxiliary bunkers of North Lincolnshire.
The auxiliary bunkers of North Lincolnshire are remarkably well preserved, we have found six of them now. We returned the shafts to the condition we found them, these things were difficult to find for a reason.

Monday 4th September 2017, a visit to Scotland's Secret Bunker, a dual story underground complex in the East Neuk of Fife, situated under a farmhouse and used by the UK government during the cauld war. Thankfully only about 5 miles drive from Ainster so they'd be well fed on quality fish suppers!
Great for a wet day!!
Swallow Auxiliary Bunker, N.Lincs.
Acting on a tip off from someone on the FB group 'Abandoned Lincolnshire', my intrepid bunch of bunkerers are off in search of a former English resistance bunker somewhere in the woods around the lovely village of Swallow in North Lincolnshire.
CART don't have a listing for this bunker, and so will send what details I have on to them, but here's a list of the known Lincolnshire auxiliary units they have uncovered.
And here's Pete's account of his explore of this bunker from ten years ago. Thanks to him again for this explore!
