X-Plane 11 VR | Aalesund Vigra to Oslo Gardermoen | Full flight Airport to Airport
We head back over the Norwegian Alps as we fly from Aalesund Vigra Airport and back to Oslo Gardermoen Airport after a 30 min turnaround on this short domestic flight in Norway. We are online on the Vatsim network in hope for some good ATC coverage along the way.
As always we are flying 100% in Virtual Reality using X-Plane 11 and the Oculus Rift S headset for full immersion in the cockpit.
I hope you enjoy the flight and hope you will like & subscribe to support the further growth of this channel.
I use simbrief.com for all my flight planning, it is a great tool and very true to real world flight plans.
I am using the Zibo Mod which is a freeware aircraft! The guys behind Zibo are doing an amazing job and I highly recommend using the aircraft AND supporting their work through donations.
THIS IS NOT TO BE USED FOR REAL WORLD FLIGHT TRAINING OR PROCEDURES. THIS CHANNEL IS NOT REPRESENTING ANY REAL-WORLD AIRLINE
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am currently using X-plane 11 as my preferred simulator and fly 99% of the time in VR using the Oculus Rift which I highly recommend for extreme immersion.
My settings vary and I recommend that you do your own tweaking and optimization as all systems a slightly different.
For better performance in VR I use 3jfps combined with lasso tool and oculus traytool.
I recommend you take a look at the videos from youtuber “Sweviver” who have made some great tutorials for X-plane 11 VR.

X-Plane 11 VR | VFR Norway Day 1
Well what a stream this was! We had a brand new aircraft that is highly modelled and as it turns out, not very forgiving!
Having been out of real world aviation (flying) for a good 7 years, flying a carby aircraft caught me off guard! The brilliant Marchetti-SF260 is highly modelled down to the right oil you need to use. Let's just say, I did a lot wrong and I paid the price for it!
My apologies the Mic quality once I got into VR, it does fix up around about 15 minutes into the flight

Cockpit View - Flying DY994 from Oslo to Billund in VR Xplane 11
Join me on a short flight from Oslo in Norway to Billund in Denmark. We will be operating the Norwegian flight DY994 which is a real world route shuttling Norwegians to short weekend holidays in Legoland in Denmark.
The flight is performed online on Vatsim but unfortunately no ATC service was available on this particular flight.
The entire flight and setup was done in VR using the Oculus Rift S in Xplane 11. The aircraft used is a 737 with registration LN-DYD. (ZIBO Mod).
I will perform the flight as realisticly as possible, but keep in mind that this is a two pilot aircraft and that quite a few things will deviate from real life as this is a sim with some limitations.
I hope you enjoy the flight and hope you will like & subscribe to support the further growth of this channel.
I use simbrief.com for all my flightplanning, it is a grea tool and very true to real world flightplans.

X-Plane 11 VR | Zibo Mod Boeing 737-800 |Cockpit View | Oslo - Molde - Oslo
Join me as we simulate a normal day of operations in Norwegian Airshuttle flying domestic shuttle flights in Norway.
Today we will be flying on the Vatsim network in X-Plane 11 VR using the Zibo Mod 737 on our trusty Oculus Rift S headset for full immersion.
We will be taking off from runway 01L in Oslo Gardermoen Airport and landing on runway 25 in Molde Årø Airport before heading back to Oslo Gardermoen. We will be doing the RNAV approach for rw 25 in Molde and the ILS approach for our arrival back into Oslo.
During this flight we will also find time to discuss the new Microsoft Flight Simulator due to launch in 2020 and the impact it will have on the flight simulation world.
As always we are flying 100% in Virtual Reality using X-Plane 11 and the Oculus Rift S headset for full immersion in the cockpit.

Join me in the Cockpit of this Norwegian Airshuttle Boeing 737 for a short domestic flight from Aalesund to Gardermoen Oslo. In this video we will be operating the real world route DY417 and do so online on the Vatsim network in hope for some ATC coverage.
This particular route will take us straight over the Norwegian alps and over the highest peak in Norway which sometimes can offer som spectacular views from the flightdeck.

Cockpit View - VR Flight from Gothenburg to Oslo at Night - Xplane 11 - 737-800
Be my First Officer and join me for a Cockpit View in this quiet Night Flight from Landevetter Airport in Gothenburg to Gardermoen Airport in Oslo, Norway, Flying a Norwegian Boeing 737-800 back to my home base in Gardermoen Airport.
I was admittedly too tired to safely execute this flight, but I really wanted to test the VR Sim and Oculus Rif S in nighttime conditions with its new settings. This did account for some errors made here and there including a bad approach, but we made it down safely none-the-less.
I Fly with failures ENABLED and Remove flying surfaces when over speed or G limits, So full realism enabled so to speak.
