V-Pra kaayal floating park, a new tourist attraction, is build on the beautiful Vayalapra kaayal. A wooden floating path through the kaayal, lighted by solar lamps, with shops on either sides, leads you to the V-Pra park, Gaming center and food court. The park also offers various activities like peddle boating, kayaking, group boating, party boating and others kids rides. You wouldn't have seen a more awesome sunrise or sunset than what you would see from the floating park. It is a new experience for me.

Vayalapra park, a scenic waterfront public park, located 25 km from Kannur town is an ideal place to spend an evening enjoying the serenity and beauty of the nature. The place provides a spectacular view of the backwaters surrounded by mangrove forests and the Ezhimala hills. The mangrove forests are home to a number of exotic birds and is a birdwatcher's delight. The main highlight of this place is a 3 m wide, 250 m long (approx.) walkway constructed over the backwaters which offers a scenic view of the place. Other attractions are kayaking and boating facilites, a children's park and a restaurant. Well worth a visit!
