The horses carriage is a bus line to a hotel in the valley. 1 hour each way.
Val Roseg has a cross country, lang lauf ski track, but also simple winter walking as can be seen in this excellent weather.
The couch service is 40m from Pontresina train station at the bridge.

The Eawag project InterNet examines how flow intermittency affects biodiversity and river function in an alpine environment. Alpine landscapes today are being transformed rapidly as glaciers also recede, vegetation changes in distribution and types, and altered precipitation and glacial-melt patterns influence local hydrology, temperature regimes and surface-water flow paths. For this project, a research team of the department Aquatic Ecology will study 30 alpine streams in the Val Roseg (Engadin, Swiss Alps).

Das Mittagessen nimmt man auf der Terrasse des Restaurants Roseggletscher ein. Vom Restaurant führt ein Fussweg noch weiter ins Tal hinein bis zum Roseggletscher.

He's got over 50 of them on his farm so that the horse-drawn bus in the Roseg Valley can stick to its timetable. He knows each and every horse by name.

Eine der klassischen Touren im Bernina-Gebiert im Engadin / Graubünden ist der Spraunzagrat am Piz Morteratsch 3751m. Nicht schwerer als ein 3er und landschaftlich ein Highlight. Zudem ist die Linie des pfeilerartigen Grates absolut elegant.
Wir starteten am Bahnhof Morteratsch zur Bovalhütte, den Abstieg wählten wir via Tschiervahütte ins Rosegtal Richtung Pontresina.
