So, we took the local bus to this beach. 50 cents per person & you get to ride with the locals. Our bus stopped at this scary looking dirt road & the bus driver looked back and told us this was our stop...
We had never been here & I didn't want to get off the bus, but I did. We walked that scary little dirt road until it opened up to the most beautiful paradise. Shame on me for being a sissy. It's amazing!

Went to Valley Church Beach (Just south of Jolly Harbor ) and loved the place. Almost undiscovered and you felt like you were the only people at the place.
This is an ideal beach for families with small children and everybody who uses the beach for relaxation more than for action.

The most beautiful secluded beach with milky Caribbean blue water and soft powdery white sand. There is a bar and restaurant on the beach. You can rent chairs, umbrellas and jet skis while you are there.
If you are ever lucky enough to be in Antigua, please make a stop here and make sure you grab yourself a delicious painkiller.

Day 3 aboard Adventure of the Seas in Antigua (Jolly Beach Antigua) St. Johns
Our third day aboard the Adventure of the Seas was in Antigua. We were planning on traveling to Valley Church Beach but were persuaded to go to Jolly Harbor Beach by our taxi driver. This beach has nice turquoise water but it was a little murky from the sand being turned up. This beach did have WiFi which was a bonus.
