Sunrises on the Highveld are are often described as spectacular, and what better vantage point than from a hot air balloon. This is the reward for pilots competing in the national championship underway at Skeerpoort, Magaliesburg.

This week on Pasella Paul Rothman and the new Pasella presenter, Carmen Pretorius, explores Hartebeespoort from a hot air balloon. Ivan Botha and Donnalee Roberts chat about their new film, Vir Altyd which can be seen in film theatres from the 5th of February. Paul gets the adrenaline levels up with watersports, go up in the cablecars, pop in at the Pretville town and visit the popular Tannie Malie se Winkel. Carmen and Dozi play with lion cubs. Carmen tastes cheese at Von Gaalen Kaasmakerij and pick herbs from Margaret Robert’s garden. The Pasella party takes place at
Dozi’s Back to the Roots venue.
