My dad has always wanted to go to the famous dutch museums and we were finally able to arrange a lil trip to Amsterdam to visit one. The museum was a nice experience and the food after at the christmas market tasted yummy. Overall a fun day! *_*

Experiencing Amsterdam nightlife, going to Red light district has been on my travel list for a while. Things to do list for Amsterdam including Red light district, Van Gogh museum and Jordaan was made before going to Amsterdam. Amsterdam is known for Red light district in all around the world. It was really easy to go from Red light district to Jordaan or anywhere in Amsterdam. Stayed for the first time in Airbnb and Stayokay hostel, really good vibes from Amsterdam city! As a city, Amsterdam is amazing and specially expectation from places like Red light district or paintings from Van Gogh museum were just perfect.

New Entrance Van Gogh Museum Amsterdam
To celebrate the opening of the new entrance of the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam an incredible maze made up of 125 000 sunflowers has been set up on the Museumplein in Amsterdam. The new entrance was open to the public from 5th September 2015. Visitors are now able to enter the museum through a spectacular glass structure on Museumplein.
The new entrance of the Van Gogh museum features advanced glass building techniques and is completely transparent. The entrance hall was designed by Kisho Kurokawa Architect & Associates, the agency founded by the renowned Japanese architect Kisho Kurokawa.

Questo magnifico museo ospita la più grande collezione al mondo di opere di Vincent van Gogh. Inaugurato nel 1973 per accogliere la collezione del fratello minore di Vincent, Theo, il museo conserva circa 200 tele e 500 disegni realizzati dal maestro e da alcuni suoi contemporanei, come Gauguin e Monet. La collezione venne raccolta e valorizzata dal nipote di Vincent van Gogh, figlio del fratello Theo, che creò una fondazione e fece di tutto per valorizzare il lavoro dello zio. Di recente il museo si è dotato di un nuovo e ampio ingresso che ha permesso anche un riallestimento dell’intera struttura.
