Vansteenkiste Scutching Turbine | VR application | by DIM & TEN – Howest DAE | 2015
This Scutching Turbine of the brothers Vansteenkiste is a Flanders top collection piece belonging to the collection of Texture – Museum of Flax and River Lys. With Texture being the project applicant, this machine has been part of the Flemish heritage project “Duiken in de Machine” since the start. This VR application was build using a CAD model of the machine that was reverse engineered from a Point Cloud (3D laserscan). The CAD model was created by TEN (The Engineering Network) and the VR application was developed by the Howest Digital Arts & Entertainment Research team.
All cars on stage 6 of the Hemicuda Rally 2019 until the stage was stopped due to the big crash of Gilles Depla (Ford Fiesta R2T). See the crashed car in the last minute of the video. (crew was OK). Stage results below.

Barbier jumps over Syx and is currently 3rd on +1:19.4, Syx follows 3.5 seconds later but also Campling is pushing hard, now 5th only 1 second after Syx.

Roy Smith (60) - Ford Sierra RS Cosworth 4x4 - +27.1 (filtered list: After this stage, Syx is leading; Fonteyne is second on +2:23.3; Stefaan Prinzie (15 - BMW E30 M3) drops a place is now 3rd on +2:35.8. He had braking issues in this second boucle, you can see he is driving carefully in this video. This stage he finished on +37.1 from Syx.
