Varadero Markt for Tourist
I can recommend to go to Matanzas
and Cardesnas
, if you want know , how the real live of Cuba is, if you just stay in Varadero it is not the real Cuba live. Of Course Havana, Cienfuegos, Santa Clara and Trinidad was also nice, but this are organized trips. For me, to make it by self is really easy and secure. I was always alone on this trip, I never had a bad and unsafe feeling. You can see I made photos, videos everywhere, but please ask before you make photos in an shop...In Cuba the Tourists have cuc the native pesos. If you make a such trip take just 0,25 0,5 or 1 cuc with you for by some staff!!! The people can not change!
I made my first tour with a native person of cube which me invite in her home. After this I know how it worked and I went more times alone to Matanzas and Cardenas. You should be able to speak basic Spanish if you make a trip by bus, that you are able to ask for bathroom, if you use a Taxi just say Matanzas or Cardenas called principal (Main Street) and in Matanzas and Carenas are many Taxis to bring you back to Varadero. You can trust me, that works without any problems, you just say Varadero and the number of your street where you stay. That is all.
You have to bargain with the taxi driver. The via Azul bus, that is the official bus which tourist can use will be use for 10 Cuc a single tour, so I think nearly what I taxi also want. (nearly 40 km from Varadero) So far I know is it not possible to go to Cárdenas by via Azul bus.(it is just 20 km from Varadero) maybe 5 to 7 cuc should be ok. I used the bus and paid just 1 Cuc for one tour. But to tell the truth, it is not allowed for the bus driver to take you with him. I like adventure and of course for my safety I had 10 cuc on my side, that I am sure I come back to the hotel I liked Cardenas more. You just need to go to the museum you can go inside cost 5 Cuc and than walk the way where lot of horse and stores are. Have fun! And let a message here if you did it !Take all what you need with to Cuba many thinks really expensive like shampoo 8 Euro, or also mosquito protection was in months of November helpful.
And let a message here if you did it !

Old Havana Cuba: We Were Shocked ,Santiago de Cuba, Santa Clara, Matanzas, Sancti Spiritus,
Our Cuba holidays. In this video, we will explore Old Town area of Havana. While this area is busy with tourists and touts there is no denying its beauty and char, antique cars, Cuba's weather.BUT We Were SHOCKED
Only 93 miles from Florida, and just 13 from the Bahamas. The Republic of Cuba exists in a time and space all its own. Beautiful beaches near Havana,The Cuba’s History.
Is Havana Safe for Tourists?
Few cities can stir the imagination like Cuba’s capital, Havana, a city preserved by forts, a five-mile seawall, and an imposed embargo, which held back the excesses of the 20th century for over 50 years. The Cuba’s History.
Havana’s lure can be hard to resist, but Cuba offers so much more beyond the seductive lights of its capital. In Cuba, a long sandy beach is never far away. We we'll see popular tourist towns and the best places to visit Cuba.
We enjoy the home stay program here in Cuba renting a room per $25 tonight from a Cuban family enjoying the local residence lifestyle the program is called Casa Particular.
Cuba may still have one foot firmly in the past, but as the world tumbles towards tomorrow, we can be thankful for the many things it has not let go.
Sometimes it’s hard to know whether Cuba is awakening to the world, or if the world is awakening to Cuba. Whatever your politics, it's easy to admire this island nation that has proudly gone its own way.
Tourism in Cuba is booming and this spectacular little island is finally getting some of the attention it deserves.must-see places in Cuba. Trinidad,
Santa Clara, Vinales, Playa Jutias, Cienfuegos, Matanzas

Riding A Coco Taxi Varadero Cuba 2018 4k
Coco taxis in cuba are by far the cheapest and most fun way to get around town! We were in the main town of Varadero (not the hotel district) and paid 5 CUCs to go from one end of Varadero to the other!

Cycling Cuba: Varadero - Havanna - Vinales
A nice trip on the northern coast of Cuba. Starting at the Marina Varadero. Cycling with a rented bike about 500 KM along the Via Blanca to Havanna, continuing on the Carretera Panamericana to Mariel and going finally to the magic rocks and caves of Vinales. Country No. 96 for Chris-on-the-Bike.de

Unforgettable Taxis of Cuba
-----
Random of my travels, I sometimes take the time to immortalize a moment that seems to have stopped. Cuba is full of old or improbable taxis. From Varadero to Havana via Matanzas, I invite you to discover this incredible collection of american classic cars.
Varadero. Coco taxi
Petite balade dans ce petit véhicule local. Nous n'avons vu que des filles conduirent les coco taxis. Petite odeur d'essence et impossible de se parler en route :) mais amusante expérience.
Cuba, from Havana to Trinidad!
เที่ยวคิวบา จากฮาวาน่าสู่ตรินิแดด
Impressions from Cuba from the time Fidel Castro was still president. We start off with a stroll through the beautiful old town of Havana and watching the local streetlife along Malecon, where people are hanging out, swimming or fishing. See the iconic classic American cars from back in the fifties, adding to the already jaw dropping beauty of this city.
We take the bus south to the amazing town Trinidad, an UNESCO World Heritage Site with its colonial and neo-classical style architecture, an amazing streetlife teeming with people of all ages and walks of life, lots of live music in the streets, in bars and theatres. We travel to the beach in a Coco Taxi (a yellow helmet looking Tuk-Tuk!), and see a show about the old history of Cuban people at a local theatre.
On the way south to Varadero we also stop at the tourist magnet Varadero, with its lovely white beaches, as well as in Matanzas, which in spite of its name (one meaning being massacre) is a truly beautiful town worth visiting.
Finally we head back to Havana where we visit a cigar factory and end up in the crowds of a festival.

Varadero Open Top Bus Tour (HD)
Transport in Varadero historically was one of the largest headaches and complaints of tourists. It is a long peninsula and taxis are expensive and often notable by their absence. The introduction of an open top bus a few years ago was therefore a run away success and now there are a whole fleet (well more than two) of the red open-top double decker tourist buses doing the rounds. There are with 45 hop on/hop off stops lining all the resorts and shopping malls along the entire length of the peninsula. It passes by every half-hour at well-marked stops with route and distance information. You can buys tickets on the bus itself.
In the peak busy season it may get a bit busy but generally this is undoubtedly the best way to get around Varadero. Given that after a few days even the most steadfast snowbird can go stir crazy this can offer a welcome escape from the resort. There may also be more to see, especially following recent changes than might meet the eye. Private restaurants are blooming, kite surfing towards the end of the peninsula makes a good spectator sport, the old town is getting (slowly) more interesting and there are a couple of nature reserves.

HOW TO TRAVEL IN CUBA: Bus ◼︎Train ◼︎ Caminones ◼︎ Colectivos ◼︎ Cycling
Cuba is a great destination for tourists. It is so interesting for so many reasons, among them its diversity of means of travel. The most common means of travel would be by bus either individual travel or organized travel. Car rental is certainly popular due to its flexibility. Really easy would a taste of Cuba by taking a cruise that stops at three ports of call. For the more adventurous, why not take the challenge of crossing Cuba on camioness or by bicycle touring. Colectivos also an option if you miss a bus or are looking to meet people.Oh yes for shorter distances there is always the horse and carriage that are still a big hit in Cuba.
