I got to meet a new spanish friend, at his first visit in northern Norway. I documented his first time doglsedding in my hometown, and it was an amazing adventure.

Nord-Norwegen Teil 1 (Nordkapp, Tromsø, Vesteralen) Mit dem Wohnmobil unterwegs
Begleite uns auf unserer Wohnmobilreise nach Nord-Norwegen im August/September 2019. Im 1. Teil geht es von Rostock zum Nordkapp und dann weiter über Tromsø auf die Vesteralen.

Kapitel 1
Von Berlin zum Nordkapp
Nach Süd-Norwegen 2017 wollten wir endlich auch den Norden bereisen. Schon bei der Planung war uns klar, dass es unmöglich ist den kompletten Nordteil zu bereisen. Anfänglich stand auch das Nordkapp nicht auf unserer Wunschliste. Zu weit die Entfernung und schier endlose Fahrerei. Allerdings, wenn wir schon so hoch (zu den Lofoten) wollten, dann konnten wir auch noch das Nordkapp “mitnehmen“. Und so entschlossen wir uns auf eine stramme Durchreise bis zum Nordkapp, um von da an etwas geruhsamer in südliche Richtung zu fahren.
Nach fünftägiger endloser Fahrerei durch teils abwechslungsreiche und teils karge Natur kamen wir am Nordkapp (Stellplatzgebühr 57 Euro/Nacht!) an. Muss man es nun besucht haben oder kann man es getrost weglassen? Wir haben keine Antwort darauf. Wir haben es gesehen und werden/müssen nicht noch einmal dorthin.
Das Wetter auf der Reise zum Nordkapp war sehr wechselhaft und reichte von 12°C bis 19°C. Am Nordkapp wurde es windiger.
Kapitel 2
Vom Nordkapp zu den Lofoten
Nach den sehr anstrengenden Tagen der Anfahrt zum Nordkapp (bedingt durch die Straßenverhältnisse und immer wieder auftauchenden Rentieren) fuhren wir die E6 entlang in wesentlich kürzeren Etappen. Dabei standen wir teils frei, teils auf Campingplätze.

Wir nutzten oft die App Park4Night viele der von uns besuchten Park-, Stell-, oder Campingplätze sind dort zu finden. Für unsere Ausflüge, Wanderungen und teils für die Routenplanung nutzten wir vom WOMO-Verlag das Buch „Mit dem Wohnmobil nach Norwegen Teil 2 Der Norden“.

Vanlife and hiking in Norway. Ep.6 - Arriving at Andøya
Episode 6 from our summer vacation. In this episode we keep driving north, and arrive at Andøya in Vesterålen.
Because of a foot injury, this summer became a little bit different. I wasn´t able to hike long distances, carrying a heavy backpack. So instead we made it more of a road trip/camping trip. Wild camping with our mini camper, and taking day hikes. This resulted in more driving and less hiking. But the good thing about that was that we got to see a lot of our beautiful country, and also travel as far north as we had ever been before. Starting in the southwest country, we drove all the way up to Andøya-Vesterålen. We had no rush, and spent 6 weeks traveling around. I hope you want to follow us on our journey, which will be posted in episodes. :-) - Håkon & Ulf

This is how you spend 24 hours in Lofoten // Sortland and Lofoten VLOG
I was visiting Sortland to perform and take part in an event in Blåbyhallen, Sortland. Since we already where so far up north in Norway and Calanus Helse, one of my partners, have their headquarters at Sortland we decided to stay an extra day. 24 hours is not much time when you are meeting up with a sponsor and driving for 14 hours. But we did manage to get some really awesome content in Loften:)

After taking a morning bath and the first shoot we got in the car and drove towards Harstad again. All the locations is between Reine and Sortland.

For the second time in seven editions, the Arctic Race of Norway will take place in the Lofoten and Vesterålen Islands, known around the world for their exceptional scenery where the roads run between the mountains and the sea. The winner will then be decided in Narvik at the bottom of the slopes that may host the 2027 Alpine Ski World Championships.
