The Highground Veterans Memorial Park

Veteran's Memorial Park & Bridge *AMAZING* from the Eye in the Sky.
The weather was just perfect for this video shot. The park is a sight to see from way up high. It is in such detail you can see the water moving from above. Bay City's skyline, which isn't huge still looks really cool. You must watch until the end of the video to see the war memorial. From the sky you can see it is shaped like a badge or star with the flags roaring in the wind.
A quick tidbit about the The Veterans Memorial Bridge, iit is a drawbridge located in Bay City, Michigan. It carries State Highway M-25 over the Saginaw River. Its location is just south of Wenona Park (on the east side of the river), and Veteran's Park (on the west side). The Veterans Memorial Bridge opened in 1957, the same year as the Mackinac Bridge. It was also Bay City's first four-lane bridge

Four Days Fishing Northern Wisconsin at Lake of The Falls Campground
Every year I go on a six day fishing trip with my buddy Reggie. This year I also took along my Nephew Matthew. Usually my brother Brian goes with too, but he passed away recently, so this is our first trip without him.
We fished many lakes including, The Turtle Flambeau Flowage, Mercer Lake, Grand Portage Lake, Moose Lake, and Pine Lake.
A recent cold front passed through, so the fishing was slow, but we still managed to get a few. We camped at Lake of The Falls Campground located on the channel between Lake of The Falls, and The Turtle Flambeau Flowage. The weather was great, and we experienced no rain for the first time in years!
Kick-it-Pickett
You are invited to watch an EagleHerald video shot by Rick Gebhard to go along with the newpaper article written by Lisa Reed. Joey Pickett had plenty of support Friday as 93 friends, family and school mates had their heads shaved at Crivitz Elementary School. Pickett has been under going therapies for a brain tumor. Many teachers and employees of the school showed their solidarity when they had their heads shaved a few weeks ago.
