musiche e danze sulle rotte del Mediterraneo
Milagro Acustico e Flamenco Tango Neapolis portano in scena VENTO MORESCO, un progetto artistico che unisce musica, poesia e danze della cultura mediterranea e mette a confronto le ricerche artistiche di questi due gruppi da anni presenti sulla scena internazionale. Il Vento parte da Oriente, dalla Turchia e passando per la Sicilia, l’isola giardino degli arabi, approda a Napoli, prosegue per la Spagna, si trasforma a passo di Flamenco e continua il suo viaggio a bordo dei piroscafi che portano i nostri migranti in terre lontane, in Argentina dove il vento prende una nuova forma, quella del Tango.
VENTO MORESCO è la brezza che segue le rotte delle navi mercantili che da Oriente, dagli Scali di Levante, portano mercanzie e uomini in Occidente e con loro, cultura, musica, strumenti, danze e nuove idee che nel tempo andranno a radicarsi, mischiandosi con la cultura locale, fondendosi con gli strumenti, confondendosi con i passi di danza.
Musica, danza e poesia si susseguono in uno spettacolo fortemente evocativo, animato da circa venti artisti fra musicisti e danzatori, che accompagneranno lo spettatore attraverso il Mediterraneo, la sua cultura e le sue tradizioni.
VENTO MORESCO nasce con il proposito di evidenziare l’aspetto positivo delle migrazioni e quanto di buono può scaturire dall’incontro fra le culture.

With Sicilia Araba (Arabic Sicily), Milagro Acustico Medina Sound get back to talk about the most remote and obscure history of Arab Sicily, period that has marked almost the entire record production and research group in twenty years, but we do it this time with the same language of the Arab poets, thanks to collaboration with the Iraqi-tunisian musician and singer Marwan Samer, using as always the instruments of the Mediterranean tradition as oud, baglama, friscaleddu, ney, daf and many others and with arrangements that tend to emphasize the modernity of the verses of poets as Ibn Hamdis and other Arab poets who lived in Sicily during the Islamic Domination (827-1091).
In particular, we use the poems that talk about Sicily, homeland for many of them, written during exile or from the journey stories made by poets, merchants and Arab dignitaries after the fall of Islamic rule lasted in Sicily three centuries and in neighboring Spain nearly seven centuries.
The theme that unites these texts then is nostalgia or consternation at the loss of Paradise.
A real journey that combines music, poetry and literature, creating an intense , evocative and at the same time a fascinating show.
