traficam cape town was created on 23 August 2017. The videos uploaded was not intentionally recorded or edited to highlight any good or bad drivers on our roads, but just an observation of my driving from point a-z (atoz). Driver education is the key motivation as to why I installed a dashcam in my vehicle. Lets face it, as drivers we do sometimes make mistakes on the road without even realising it. When we do look back we can educate ourselves and learn from our mistakes. The camera I'm using is the StealthDashCam™ from Techmard.

Wilderness to Vic Bay. Not safe anymore :-)
17 May 2019 Via railway line that is no longer in use. I don't recommend it since it simply isn't safe anymore. Sad but true and its built up a reputation of all kinds of robberies.

Victoria Bay, George;
Vic Bay is a classic set-up on a small scale. This bay between steep tree-covered hills is probably only 200 metres wide. The west side of the bay, an established holiday getaway for the fortunate few who have a house at the water’s edge, produces perfect point break walls. You take off near a rock that sticks out the water. The wave walls away from you and down a shallow line of rocks. The bigger waves angle further away from the rocks and into the middle of the beach. Best in a four- to six-foot south to southwest swell and glassy or offshore (northwest to southwest wind) conditions. Handles light south to southeast winds.
Competing are more than 100 of the country’s top open and junior surfers and a handful of international campaigners

Victoria Bay, Garden Route - South Africa Tourism
The Garden Route is a popular and scenic stretch of the south-eastern coast of South Africa. It stretches from Mossel Bay in the Western Cape to the Storms River which is crossed along the N2 coastal highway over the Paul Sauer Bridge in the extreme western reach of the neighbouring Eastern Cape. The name comes from the verdant and ecologically diverse vegetation encountered here and the numerous lagoons and lakes dotted along the coast. It includes towns such as Mossel Bay, Knysna, Oudtshoorn, Plettenberg Bay and Nature's Valley; with George, the Garden Route's largest city and main administrative centre.

Victoria Bay – is one of the Garden Route's best-kept secrets.
Victoria Bay is a small cove in the Western Cape, South Africa. It is situated on the Garden Route between George and Wilderness. It is a popular beach for surfers, consisting of a right hand reef-like wave which rolls over small boulder-like rocks for about 200m. District and National surf competitions are often held at Vic Bay and despite its small size, Vic Bay is a well-known and much-visited spot.
