Welcome to Victoria, Canada
Welcome to Victoria, Canada!
I thought I would show off this lovely city, as I have quite a few foreign friends interested in it. I'm thinking I may start a series of videos like this.
I had hours of footage, so a ton of this is sped up. Most of the video has been stabilized during editing, due to walking, so it may seem a bit wavy or choppy, however it's a lot better compared to how bumpy it was before the stabilization. I hope you can look past it, I don't yet have the equipment to stabilize while filming. :)
I hope you enjoy the video as well as this lovely city!

The City of Victoria, BC is ERADICATING history!
Victoria, BC will be removing a statue of Canada's first Prime Minister, Sir John A. Macdonald, from Victoria City Hall as part of the city's reconciliation efforts.
True North Initiative fellow Andrew Lawton says this is embracing political correctness at the expense of history.
What do you think?
Sir John A. Macdonald statue removed from Victoria city hall
A statue of Sir John A. Macdonald, Canada's first prime minister, has been removed from the steps of Victoria's city hall. The city decided to remove the statue because of what it says is Macdonald's role as a leader of violence against Indigenous peoples.

City Hall Wedding in Victoria BC
Victoria's city hall dedicates only a few days every year to wedding ceremonies. This awesome family had their winter wedding ceremony at City Hall and then we went all over Victoria, BC for wedding portraits, including the Inner Harbour, The Empress Hotel, urban areas like Bastion Square and Market Square and the orcas in front of City Hall.
The bride wore a super fun short wedding dress.

A visual tour of the castle built by Robert Dunsmuir, wealthy coal baron, between 1887 and 1890.
