A collection of photographs of Union soldiers during the Civil War posing as though fighting in combat, having staged boxing matches, and arranging mock fights in their portraits and in camp. Driving the Battlefield in Gettysburg (2018)
Driving the Battlefield in Gettysburg
On July 12, 2018 we visited Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, and on one of our stops we drove a section of the battlefield starting at the John Sedgwick monument, making our way around and up through big and little round top, back down to the John Sedgwick moment. This video was a live stream which we shared with our viewers during that trip.
More information about John Sedgwick:
John Sedgwick graduated 24th out of 50 cadets from the West Point Class of 1837 and served in a variety of posts, including the armies of both Taylor and Scott during the Mexican War. In 1855 he became the major of the 1st Cavalry Regiment, whose colonel was Robert E. Lee. Sedgwick took over from Lee as Colonel when Lee resigned his commission.
Sedgwick went on to command a division in the Peninsula, where he was wounded. He was wounded three more times and distinguished for gallantry in the East Woods at Antietam. He briefly commanded the 11th Corps before being given the 6th Corps, and performed well during the Chancellorsville campaign.
At Gettysburg the 6th Corps was the last to arrive on the field after an epic 30 mile night and day march. Although much of the corps remained in reserve during the battle, various portions were committed as needed at scattered points about the field. At one point Sedgwick found himself commanding units on both the extreme right and left flanks of the army.
After Gettysburg Sedgwick continued to distinguish himself and the 6th Corps. He was killed by a sharpshooter at Spottsylvania on May 9, 1864 shortly after announcing that “they couldn’t hit an elephant at this distance.” He is honored by a monument on the Spotsylvania battlefield near the location where he was killed. John Sedgwick was the senior United States officer killed in the Civil War.
A lifelong bachelor, Sedgwick was buried at Cornwall Hollow, Connecticut.

Lincoln's Funeral Train (Live) | LTP #051
In this episode of Let' Talk Paranormal Live, we will be discussing the Lincoln Funeral Train and about Abraham Lincoln's return path to Springfield, Illinois.
On April 21, 1865, a train carrying the coffin of assassinated President Abraham Lincoln leaves Washington, D.C. on its way to Springfield, Illinois, where he would be buried on May 4. The train carrying Lincoln’s body traveled through 180 cities and seven states on its way to Lincoln’s home state of Illinois. Scheduled stops for the special funeral train were published in newspapers.
At each stop, Lincoln’s coffin was taken off the train, placed on an elaborately decorated horse-drawn hearse and led by solemn processions to a public building for viewing. In cities as large as Columbus, Ohio, and as small as Herkimer, New York, thousands of mourners flocked to pay tribute to the slain president. In Philadelphia, Lincoln’s body lay in state on in the east wing of Independence Hall, the same site where the Declaration of Independence was signed. Newspapers reported that people had to wait more than five hours to pass by the president’s coffin in some cities.

My Eyebrow Tattoo Experience!
I took the plunge! After struggling with my skimpy eyebrows for years, I decided to try permanent makeup, more specifically, I had my eyebrows tattooed! This procedure has evolved greatly over time and the emerging trend is called micro-blading (also known as 3D brows and eyebrow embroidery). This technique creates a beautiful, natural look. I am so excited to share this experience with you! If you have any more questions, leave them in the comments and I would be happy to make a follow up video answering them all.
I saw Connie Pearson at her salon, Permetika, here in Houston, Texas.
